Summary: My lover, my enemy
Review: As an officer of the Alliance, Sha'Nara had been trained to destroy the psychics who sought galactic domination. But on a mission to protect the Director-General's daughter, the beautiful bodyguard was abducted by one: Tristan-the most dazzlingly sensual man she'd ever encountered. Far from the monster she'd been prepared for, her enemy was a man whose dreams and desires she admired. And in the duel they waged, she felt him parry every thrust, and found herself pierced to the soul by the riposte of his kiss. Soon the fiery beauty knew that as surely as her body was Tristan's hostage, so was her heart, and she questioned all she'd ever known-for if the Alliance was right and Tristan's people were evil, there would never be a time or a place for their passion. But in his ardent embrace, Sha'Nara found herself hoping, praying, telling herself that they could be together somehow.

Summary: Terrible! I had to make myself finish it.
Review: I read a few good reviews and decided to give this book a try, I wish I hadn't. The plot is extremely weak and the heroine has to be the most unlikable I have ever come across. She is not only bigoted but betrays the hero numerous times throughout the novel. I couldn't for the life of me see what he saw in her let alone why he stupidly trusted her time and time again. Supposedly there is an instant attraction between them and she has been dreaming about him for years..ok..but other than that I found no redeeming qualities about her that would cause her hero to be so enamored with her. By the end of the book I could no longer make myself care whether they ended up together or not. I think Triston's character showed way too much patience with her and deserved much better. Save your money there is so much better out there. For good sci-fi, paranormal, or time travel romance try Dara Joy (Knight of a Trillion Stars, Rejar, Mine to Take), Christine Feehan (anything in her "Dark" series) or Johanna Lindsey (Warrior's Woman or Until Forever) instead. This one is a wall banger.

Summary: Very good book
Review: I read _The Sword of Macleod_ first and remember Tristan, the hero in this one, being vaguely mentioned. I wish I'd known more about him in the first book; he's great! If you like futuristics, this one is wonderful. :) Sweet, hot, and fantastic, I'd recommend this book to anyone who enjoys futuristics. :-)

Summary: This one is a keeper!
Review: I thoroughly enjoyed Sha'Nara's and Tristan's story. These two are supposed "enemies" from birth. Sha'Nara's distrust and defiance toward Tristan and his people stem from a lifetime of learned attitudes and behaviors. I found this to be believable and blended in well with the story's plot. I also enjoyed the relationship between Jacy and Cadell. The ending holds a pleasing twist. I do not usually read futuristic romance's although am now looking forward to reading more from this author. I would enjoy reading about Devon's story, also.

Summary: fantastic book!
Review: Sha'Nara has been having mysterious, seductive dreams. However, she does not want a man in her life, despite the compelling dreams. She has "her career, her goals, and her father's expectations to keep her busy."

The day she was kidnapped should have been the longest, most boring day of her life. The assignment was to accompany the Director's General's daughter Jera to her wedding on another planet. By the time the women realized they had been kidnapped, they were far from their original destination.

Karen Fox weaves a fascinating tale of complexity and originality in SOMEWHERE MY LOVE. Although billed as a futuristic romance, it is considerably more than the typical genre romance. Fox brings an intriguing science fiction background to the tale, creating a powerful backdrop for the fast paced plot. Further characters are all vividly portrayed, drawing the reader deeply into the story. Very highly recommended.

Summary: Great Balance!
Review: So the book looked interesting when I read the comments and I decided to pick it up. This being my first Karen Fox novel, I was a bit skeptical. I usually stick to vampire stories and the such, but I was BLOWN AWAY by "Somewhere My Love". There was such a great balance between the main characters Tristan and Sha'Nara. You're never left wondering what one character is thinking while reading from the other's viewpoint. Also, the story doesn't just focus on the main characters. The other characters evolved so well that I cared about what happened to them as much as the main characters themselves. And I think it's because of this that I did NOT see what was coming at the end! It was such a surprise and I was not disappointed!

To anyone seeking a rest from romance novels with little plot or two-dimensional characters, I strongly recommend you pick this up. I can see I will be a huge Karen Fox fan for a long time to come and I wish her many, many more successful books in the future!

Summary: Great story!
Review: This is a story full of never ending action, passionate love, heartfelt hope!
If you liked "Knight of a Trillion Stars" I'm sure you'll like this even more! The heroin is strong, willful & knows what she's doing. The hero is irresistible!
It's a struggle between standing by what you believe & listening to what you feel!!
When you grow up all your life believing that someone is bad, to come to know them & have your faith & trust shaken!
I enjoyed it a lot & couldn't put it down.
Read it!! It's really good!

Summary: Great Futuristic!
Review: This was a very believable romance, with two opposites that have quite a bit in common. The pace was steady, without too much exposition to ruin the story but enough to get you 'into' the universe.
