Rating: Summary: TIMELY, POIGNANT, PROOF OF MAN'S INHUMANITY TO MAN Review: At a time when the voting public is asked to swallow the new immigration laws, this novel, based on fact/fiction and true life, paints a picture that will cause the thinking public to rise up, begin to ask questions rather than sit back in their land of golden opportunity, ignoring what goes on right under their noses. The plight of the illegal, exploited both by their own nationals and that of the greedy end user should make a feeling person very angry...but when you add to the equation, the greed and corruption of just a few of the many who seemingly are in power and were placed to protect, you have the worst scenario imaginable. This novel plots and turns and gives moments of expectation that twist once again and leave you breathless or angry ....A MUST READ, REFRESHING in that it proves a story can be told without inflicting the reader with a continual string of invictives. The characters are well developed and your emotions will lead you to attempt to rescue those who need it and call out the marines to eradicate the bad guys on both sides.....in this novel, N.L. Butler tells it as it is....Every side has "the other side". You just need to recognize it, then act.
Rating: Summary: The Horrors You Don't Hear About Review: The author is a personal friend of mine and I really enjoyed it. It was a book you didn't want to put down until you were done with it. The story line kept you on your toes. My book also has been personally autographed by the author.

Rating: Summary: The Horrors You Don't Hear About Review: The Other Side is a fascinating look at what illegal aliens can experience every day. This is a hard, truthful look at the horrors and joys in their lives. It will hold you captive - it is hard to put down. I would highly recommend the book to all mature readers.
Rating: Summary: The Truth About the California-Mexico Border Review: This book told the truth about illegal immigration across the permeable border between California and Mexico. I was shocked to read about the criminal element that preys on the poor Mexican. They are taken advantage of by vicious criminals of their own country. I became emotionally involved with the main charactors in the story and concerned how the story would end. I live within a few miles of that border which made the information more captivating.
