Summary: African Anniversary or Diamonds are Forever
Review: When Megan McCullough landed in Africa to be a nurse at the clinic run by Kendall's Diamond mine, she didn't expect to be picked up by Reed Kendall himself. She also didn't expect to be sweep off her feet. Now it's a year later, she's living in the States and never sees her workaholic husband.

Then her friend Jerry, who had been the best man at her wedding, tells her he never filed her marriage license. If it's not filed within a year of the wedding date, it becomes invalid. It seems Meggie isn't married at all.

When Reed finds out, he's furious, but Meggie is determined to use this opportunity to make him see what he's missing. She wants a husband, not an empty bed. Reed thinks his wife has gone mad. And when she takes a job flying on a helicopter with a mercy flight team as a trauma nurse, he is beside himself.

As usual Ms. Duquette has written the kind of romance that is next to impossible to put down. We have Jerry, the best man who didn't file the license, after Meggie's heart. We have Reed, trying, but failing mightily, to be the kind of man Meggie needs and we have Meggie, confused as all get out, in this romance I dearly loved. This one gets nothing by high praise from me.
