Summary: Tall, loving and a Marine
Review: TALL, DARK AND TENDER.......... When Angela Santini feels the power of First Sergeant Dan Mahoney's smoldering gave, she dared to throw caution to the wind. It had been a long time since she'd been held, kissed, touched..... But how was this straitlaced single mom supposed to know that one fantasy-filled night of passion with this marine would NEVER be enough? Dan knew the pitfalls of getting too close to soft-hearted Angela and her lonely son. But if the elusive bachelor was set on a life of solitude, why couldn't he just stay away? Was it because this Cassanova in uniform might actually be....in love? Once again, I applaud Maureen Child. I have enjoyed every book in the Bachelor Battalion series, and The Next Santini Bride is another great story. The automatic chemistry between Angela and Dan that we had a small glimpse of in The Last Santini Bride, is explored and examined in this book. Dan and Angela think that they can have one night together and just walk away, well they should have known! Dan moves right on into the lives of Jeremy and Angela, being around everyday and even becoming Jeremy's coach. Dan is the ultimate Marine and lives by the motto of keeping a promise when it is made. The ending of this book is totally awesome.......Richard Gere has nothing on Dan Mahoney!!! I love a story that has instant chemistry and sparks right off, and this book does. Each book by Maureen Child just keeps getting better and I look forward to all the coming books she does.

Summary: Tall, loving and a Marine
Review: The reviewer from Ontario, Canada has written the plot description. I liked this book, just not enough to give it more than 3 stars. One of the things that annoyed me was the sex they had in the beginning of the book. The premise is that Angela decides to have a 'one-night stand' with Dan because that's what he does. She gets so carried away with the sex that she ignores the use of a condom by asking him if he's healthy! This is a guy she just wants sex with because of his reputation for 'one-night stands' and she takes his word that he's healthy. Not believeable. That said, the rest of the story is OK and both Angela and Dan grow to realize that they can risk love for the joy it brings.
