Summary: He's Not the Marrying Kind, but She Certainly is!
Review: Matthew Putnam has been drinking himself into a stuper ever since his girlfriend Melissa dumped him for a prince from one of those Eastern nations. it's not that Matthew isn't a good catch, he's the sole heir to a Greek shipping company and his software company has made him wealthy in his own right. But Melissa wanted a wedding and Matt wasn't the marrying kind, so now he's drowning his sorrows and regrets in a bottle.

Then he gets an invitation to Melissa's engagment party. He decides to go and there he meets Samantha Maxwell, the caterer, who is engaged to a young man she's known for absolutely ever. Initially Matt only wants to use Sam to make Melissa jealous, but she keeps rebuffing him and that's never happened to him before. And the harder he tries the more she resists, until he can't help himself, before he knows it, he's in love and she's in love with him as well and they have a one night fling. However, he still has that marriage problem. He asks her to move in with him and she spuns him, because she's an old fashioned English girl who isn't going to be just a live in mistress. If she can't have the whole pie, Sam doesn't want any of it.

Will he come to his senses or will go back to the bottle and drown his sorrows away again? And even if he does come to his senses and propose, will he do it in time. And will Sam even want him if he does? And is Matt about to be a father? Intreguing questions, questions you can answer for yourself, all you have to do is read the book.
