Summary: Careful what you wish for!
Review: After I read the amazing "Cassie's Cowboys" by Diane Pershing, I had to search out more of her books. "The Wish" lived up to my expectations and is another fantastic tale!

It tells the story of Gerri Conklin who seriously embarrasses herself and wishes she could have a "do over" (oh wouldn't it be fantastic to have "do overs"!) and relive the last week of her life. Well, they always say to be careful what you wish for! With a pair of magical glasses, her wish is granted - only it turns out better than she could have imagined!

This Silhouette Romance novel is five stars all the way.

Summary: Second Chances with Magical Eyeglasses
Review: The Wish by Diane Pershing is a wonderful story of a woman who makes a wish and has it granted with the use of a magical pair of eyeglasses.

Gerri Conklin is a self professed klutz. And once again she has embarrassed herself big time. In trying to win the heart of the town's most eligible bachelor, Rance Wallace III, she accepts his last minute invitation to a charity ball. Only her self-confidence plummets as soon as they arrive. She doesn't feel up to par with the other guests. Things go from bad to worse when she overhears some women talking about her in the restroom. Their hurtful comments make her flee from the ball, spraining her ankle in the process.

Now all she wants is to be able to do the last week of her life over again. She knows that could do things so much better the second time around.

Enter a pair of magical glasses and her wish is granted. Things don't turn out as she planned though, they turn out better. She spends the week with her friend, Des Quinlan, and things really steam up between them!

The Wish is a great read that you are sure to enjoy.
