Rating: Summary: Unspoken Desire-Penny Jordan Review: I have enjoyed Penny Jordan's books. This book, like all her others-depict stories of ordinary people believing in love and when love sometimes eludes them and how they find back the love.Unspoken Desire is about Rebecca who fell in love with her second cousin, Frazer Aysgarth when she was eighteen but things turned sour when Frazer's younger brother,Rory had an affair with Frazer's fiancee and Rebecca became the scapegoat by letting Rory tell his brother that he and Rebecca were lovers. Rebecca sacrified herself because Rory made her believe that Frazer loved his fiancee and she wanted to protect him. Rebecca was subsequently banned from Aysgarth... Eight years later, when her Aunt Maud summoned her to assist her in taking care of Rory's twins at Aysgarth, Rebecca returned when she learned that Frazer was away. Frazer cancelled his tour and came back just in time to safe Rebecca from the weir pool where she thought that one of the twins fell in. When Rory came back for a visit, Frazer announced that he and Rebecca were engaged. Rory being jealous of Frazer tried to dig up the past but Rebecca could not tell Frazer the truth that she had never had a relationship with anyone, never mind Rory for fear the Frazer would want to know what prompted her sacrifice. When Frazer eavesdropped on Rebecca's argument with Rory, he learned the truth and revealed to Rebecca that Rory knew how he felt about Rebecca but he made Frazer believe that Rebecca had an affair with him and he let Rebecca believe thar Frazer loved someone else. All ends well in marriage... Penny Jordan is one of the most gifted writer of today and I will continue to read and enjoy her books.
