Rating: Summary: A wonderful book about the price of love and loyalty. Review: What a wonderful book. It is very revealing. I can totally relate to this book. It explores the love and devotion to family and to the person who shares the soul. Anyone who has had that one true love will adore this book. The characters are very real and the author did a wonderful job of bringing everything to life. I had so much empathy for Claire and Martin as they faced many difficult choices. This book lingers on long after the last page has been read. It is so true to life and the words still haunt me. I would recomend this book to anyone. It has many great messages and is very thought provoking. It will go on my list of favorites, as I can see myself as Claire and my true love as Martin in many places in the book.
Rating: Summary: This one will reinforce your belief in true love! Review: I rank this up there with The Notebook and Three Wishes! I can't get enough of the end-all, be-all love stories, and this one ranks right up there.
Rating: Summary: simple, enjoyable storyline with a surprise ending Review: If you like Nicholas Sparks novels, you will love this novel. Same type of book, but with a twist ending that for me was unexpected.I liked this book. It was a quick read , but at the same time the storyline was missing something.
Rating: Summary: Excellent story of joy, sadness, and all emotions in one! Review: This is a great story in a short book. It will leave you knowing a great story of lasting love and separation.
Rating: Summary: Very Romantic Story! Review: This was a wonderful tragic love story. It is an easy read that transports you to where the characters are and you feel what they're feeling. It makes you take inventory of your life to make sure you're making the right decisions, decisions you can be happy looking back on when you get to the end of your life. A great book for romantics!
Rating: Summary: It's good but Bridges of Madison County - NOT! Review: I found it to be a special story, we want to believe in everlasting love but I was disappointed. When you put it in the ranks of "Bridges of Madison County" and "The Notebook" I was expecting much, much more.
Rating: Summary: We all were taken in by the GAZEBO!!! Review: The Gazebo was the book of our summer vacation, it was passed on from friend to friend to see who would cry harder. We all loved it!! It is an excellent story for those in love, those who have lost a love or those who want a love. We highly recommend it.
Rating: Summary: a great human interest piece Review: I felt like I was a part of everyone involved;from Abby to Tom. I cried at the funeral, and also upon finding out who "Hush" really was. WB
Rating: Summary: A love story---but no cheese Review: A very well-written novel about a love that lasted distance, time, and problems that are so realistic and romantic it takes your breath away. Grayson does a good job of making the reader want to reach out and hug, shake, hit, and scream at the characters. Read it...
