Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Best in the West
Review: Chelley Kitzmiller's interpretation of the legend of Joaquin Murietta, the "Robin Hood" of the old west, is one of the best books I've ever read. It has everything a romance reader (or an American History buff) could wish for, with passion, intrigue, historical tidbits, delightfully independent heroine (who is not still in her teens, thankfully) and handsome, magnetic hero. And best of all, Kitzmiller writes it with a skill and talent that is rare in a first novel. It's a real page-turner and definitely a keeper.
