Rating: Summary: She Gave Him a Choice Review: When World Champion Bull rider Jack Barnett wins with a whopping 89 points in the San Antonio Rodeo, he's supposed to be a happy man. But he's not. He'd won more money than any other rider in history, but he's beginning to think he needs more. Than he hears his name called. He turns and, son of a gun, if it isn't his brother-in-law Michael, who had always idolized him. Mike is in San Antonio riding horses. He wants to follow in Jack's footsteps. At first Jack is glad to see Mike, but the conversation over coffee quickly turns to Jack's estranged wife Rozlyn, who he'd left back on the small Broken Spur Ranch, when she gave him a clear choice, rodeo riding or her. Jack chose rodeo riding. But now he's worried, because there is nobody left on the ranch to help Roz except her ageing grandfather. So Jack packs up and goes to the ranch to help. There is much argument. They're going to get back together, then they're not, then they are. Sparks fly, they can make a go of it, they can't, they can. Not much suspense in this one, though it is well written. Only three stars from me. A Harlequin Dreamers Review by Shino Tanaka
