Rating: Summary: Ashes & Ecstasy Review: I can't how much I enjoyed this book. It was just great. Catherine Hart takes you in from the 1st page. The love that Kat & Reed is so strong. When she learns he died, the pain she has so gut renching I cried with her. The pain she goes thru when she finds out he's alive and the Reed treats her after their return home is more then the average women would take. But Kat is not your average women and takes it for the love she has for Reed. This story is a true love story and the love scenes great. My advise is have a box of tissues handy because you'll need them....GREAT STORY...Keep them coming Ms. Hart

Rating: Summary: The world's best _______ is back for more Review: Kathleen O'Reilly Haley Taylor is back for more hot nookie and swordplay on the high seas. Like the first book, there's not exactly anything shocking or surprising here: just from reading the back cover teaser you can easily (and correctly) surmise that Captain Reed is not dead and has taken on a lover in his wife's year-long absence from his life. Truthfully, I found the story from the point Reed and Kathleen are reunited to be a little more than boring: it's a rehash of the first book. He's a total *** and slowly comes to the realization that he loves Kathleen more than anything. This ephiphany apparently neatly wraps up over 100 pages of acrimony in about 5 pages. Still, the book was engrossing enough to finish. I think the first book is better, though.
