Summary: Just Alright
Review: The best I can honestly say about this book is that it was just alright. While there were some amusing scenes, the characters seemed quite generic and they never really came to life for me. The book starts off with the future heroe's emotional scarring, a method that I have read too many times to count. None of the characters were terribly interesting and the heroine herself sometimes annoyed me. The heroe would occasionaly treat her badly but instead of having any pride, she would fall into his arms every chance she got. The characters weren't really constant and sometimes they did things that were plain stupid and not really in keeping with their personalities. The book is a light read and I never got terribly involved in it. Sometimes I feel like reading a book that doesn't demand too much from me--at least this book served that purpose quite well.

Summary: This book is sizzlin'!
Review: This book is great. Every thing aout it is really good. The characters were well developed and the plot was thought out. I've read lots of books and this one is up there with the best of them. I never really liked books the midwest but this one changed my mind. I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys reading. Even those who think they don't like books about early midwestern days, this is a must read. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
