Summary: Memorable - A classic to be loved and enjoyed over and over.
Review: Read this book if.... You want to curl up, coffee in hand, and be mesmerized as Ms. Rogers weaves a tale of love, heartache, and romance that you will remember a lifetime. I read this book as a teenager.. and now, some 20 years later, the characters, tale, and images are still as vivid as ever. Highly recommended for the passionate reader. Previously in hardcover as "The Second Kiss"

Summary: Great Book
Review: This is a book that is hard to put down once you pick it up. I enjoyed the historical aspect that reflected on the
comparison of the indian way and the white man's way, and how the lives and priorities reflect in very different ways.
The indian people took Maria in and taught her about the circle of life and how we all grow through this circle. As you walk with Maria and Nakoa through this journey you will become engrossed in their lives and will be able to feel their emotions.
I would highly recommend this book to anyone who likes to read love stories, historical books, novels for entertainment, or a book that keeps interested.

Summary: I Never Forgot...........
Review: this magnificent and spellbinding book that takes you through every emotion conceivable. My mother had bought it about 20 years ago or more and we always shared our books. Nakoa is definately one of our biggest all time favorites. I have been looking off and on over the years to find a copy...not even caring about it's condition. I'd been looking in flea markets, garage sales, even in the library and now there is this computer...here I find Nakoa and my search is over. I just wish Ms. Rogers had a follow up of this especially well written novel. I know I would have bought it. This may sound weird but a dream of mine has come true and that was to be able to hold and read Nakoa at least one more time. Thank you.

Summary: Excellent Story
Review: True to history and respectful of The People's way of life. The characters are vivid and the story exciting. You'll laugh, cry and sit on the edge of your seat. My only complaint is that the ending was too hasty. I had to read the last page several times to try and figure out if it was a happy ending or not. After 350 pages of being involved with the characters, I wish there could have been a more fullfilling ending.
