He showed a man can be feared by many, but so gentle with the one he loves. I wish more men loved their wives that way. The best read yet for Ms. Hart
Rating: ![1 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-1-0.gif) Summary: ONE OF THE WORST BOOKS I READ.... Review: Honestly speaking, I really expected more from this novel than anything. I read another book of Hart's and I honestly think this writer is beyond talented. She definitely knows how to give her characters life. However, this book really disappointed me. I really hated the fact that Jeremy and Summer had to part. Windrider's OK although he doesn't fall in with the "regular" kind of heroes that we as a historical romance reader, are used to. I fell in love with Jeremy and that's who I wanted her to end up with me. I absolutely hated the ugly twists and turns Hart takes us to unite them. Usually, as a romance reader, we're not subjected to that kind of prose, but there are other factors that are separating the lead hero and heroine, not the fact that she goes to another guy, bears his children, and instantly goes back to her first love. I absolutely hated this novel. I do not even recommend borrowing this novel, let alone buying it, absolute waste of time and emotions.

Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: A heart-warming and a heart-wrenching experience... Review: I have been an admirer of Ms. Hart's for quite some time. Though Summer Storm was certainly sad, it was remarkably REAL. Out of the many romances I read and write, Summer Storm seemed more real than any other. We all love fairy tale endings, but life doesn't always go along with our plans. Summer Storm showed that and much more. It left you heartbroken, yet happy for Summer. Life does indeed go on and so does love.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: If you love Indian Romances you will LOVE this one Review: I highly recommend this book...you will not be able to put it down. Seriously in order to read this book properly you will need a box of Klinex tissue and a quite place with no interuptions. Summer Storm is one of the best romance novels EVER written...Catherine Hart really outdid herself with the sequil to Silken Savage
Rating: ![4 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-4-0.gif) Summary: It was GOOD Review: I really wish one of the main characters died. I almost cried with her. I would have given it a 10 or 9 but I really hated that part.
Rating: ![2 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-2-0.gif) Summary: What happened to true Love? Review: I'm very disappointed in this book. I know I will never read Summer Storm over and over again as I do with all my other books. The ending of this book negates the whole book, because it negates the "love" that Summer shared with Windrider. Summer is in love with Jeremy in the beginning and the end, so the book should have been about Jeremy and Summer Storm. It seems that Windrider has won Summer's heart with compassion and tenderness. However, Summer isn't in love at all. Summer's love for Windrider is a sham because in the end she falls madly in love in last than 7 months???? Summer is suppose to be in love with the man of her dreams, but yet marries another man in less than 7 months after his death. What? Summer confesses that she is deeply and totally in love with her new husband. And no memories of her late husband whom she suppesedly loved deeply will haunt her. The whole story (about 300 pages) was about Summer Storm and Windrider finding love and living a wonderful life. In 60 pages all that love is washed away and totally forgotten for another. Friendship comes up a lot in this book, but my definition of friendship is radically different. True friends do not lay in wait for one's spouse to die, so he/she can move in to the picture. That is exactly what I feel a character did in this book. I liked this book up to the end. The ending didn't wash with me, so I can't give it a high score. This book did bring out feelings in me that no other book has, because I was deeply disappointed in this book. I admit I started out enjoying Summer Storm, then the book went downhill. I don't think I will ever read this disappointing book again.
