Rating: Summary: The Minds Eye, by Hilde Aardal-A great read! Review: It has been a long time since I have been able to sit down and really enjoy a book, The Minds Eye, by Hilde Aardal is a wonderful book, and is written very well. The character development in this story is so well done, that I found myself thinking about the characters whenever I had to leave reading to do something else! I reccommend this book to anyone who wants to enjoy a book.
Rating: Summary: Only the lonely... Review: "The Mind's Eye" is on my favorite novels list. When an author can write about two lonely boring people and make me want to do nothing else but read the book, makes me know she has something special here. I not only didn't want to do anything else, I didn't want to read the last 26 pages because then it would be over and I was not ready to leave these two pathetically rich in every way characters author Aardal has created. Raises the question...can the lonely and boring expect to find happiness not being lonely and boring? Aardal has brilliantly crafted a tale about Internet meetings and the downside of taking two people who feel comfortable with their relationship in the cyber world and explore the consequences of taking the relationship to the non-cyberworld where they realistically may be comfortable with their boring and lonely selves.

Rating: Summary: This could be anybody and so true to life too Review: What is the purpose of a book? well...it is to get the reader so engrossed in the subject matter that ultimately he/she finds themseves transported into the very essence of its plot. With her in-depth descriptive and sensitive writing style, Ms. Aardal breathes life into every single character (both humans and animals). :) As you begin turning the pages of this compelling story, the bonding experience will grab you rather fast. Upon coming to the end (and boy WHAT an end) you will find yourself left with such a feeling in your soul that what you have just read is as real and believable as the very world that we live in every single day of our lives. Do yourself a favor...feel it for yourself.
