Summary: Can One Really Find Romance in the Personals?
Review: Rosamund "Roz" Craig answered a personal ad in the Daily Clarion that had been signed "Lonely in London". She signed her reply "Looking for Love" however she gave her name as Janie. When she met her date at a fancy Italian restaurant, she met a nerdy looking man who she thought with the proper haircut and clothes wouldn't be half bad. However, he was unnerving during the meal and she went home early.

War correspondent Sam Hunter has upset the powers that be at his paper and has been demoted to features and has been assigned to an in-depth investigation of the women who reply to ads I the personal columns. So both he and Roz have given false names to each other, both were meeting under false pretenses. However Sam can't get Roz, who he knows as Janie, out of his mind. And Janie has a similar problem regarding Sam.

This was a romance that I'll read again soon. I really liked the plot. Two people, meeting, fibbing to each to each other, fighting that old devil attraction that is taking place. I highly recommend this one to any and all.
