Review: Beautiful and sweet Slyvie wants to see a captured pirate for some excitement before she marries for duty and settles down to a boring life. She does and ends up used as his hostage! The pirate, Jacques, is a very different sort of hero...he is not the typical leader of the pirates, but only a member of the crew. Jacques had planned on letting her go when he got to his ship; but the captain wants her, so Jacques claims her to protect her. He is also deaf and his abused childhood treatment causes him to be both tender and rough in his ways. Their adventures with pirates and pirate hunters are exciting as is their blossoming love for each other is endearing. A wonderful romance that will make you feel good!

Summary: A great (and unique) love story!
Review: What most impressed me about this story is that all the characters change throughout it. Even the bad guy has his good points. The main male character is disabled! That is unique! It was a great adventure, the love scenes were loving and hot and the characters interacted wonderfully. This book seems to have it all; even some hilarious scenes! Definitely worth a read!
