Summary: Disappointing
Review: I love historical fiction and was thrilled to find the first 3 books in the library. I know why now. While I really enjoyed Baxter and Sabina's stories, there was little character and plot development to really endear the reader to the series. What is most frustrating is that in the next two books you will hear nothing about Baxter or Sabina as if they fell off the face of the earth...even though this is a small community where everyone knows everyone....and by the way, Dianna, I do not know everyone so stop throwing names out there in each book to which I have no clue who they are and spend 20-30 minutes reviewing to discover if I missed something. If interested in historical fiction stick with Lauraine Snelling or Gilbert Morris.
