Summary: A Keeper
Review: Get your kleenex ready when you read this one. The story starts off before the Civil War and carries through the war. The love between Audra and Lee is so beautiful and unconditional even though they came from different parts of the country. This was the first Bittner book I have read, and I can't wait till each of her new books are for sale. I have read all of Bittner's books at least once several twice and I'm not about ready to give any of them up

Review: Loved this book. Rosanne Bittner can really weave a story, and she makes learning history so enjoyable. I view the Civil War from a different perspective now. I recommended this book to my sister; and she thoroughly enjoyed it, also. We both agree that Mrs. Bittner should write a sequel to this one.
