Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Excellent
Review: I loved this book. It was exciting and suspenseful and full of hot sex and mystery. It was different from Serpent in my corner but still gave the gritty edge JDaniels is famous for. Looking forward to the next one.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Undercover Work.
Review: I truly enjoyed this book with character's like Jacob, Kimberla and Delphi. This is my first JDaniels book so I didn't know what to expect. But I was satisfied with this quick read. Takes you on a journey through the seedy world of strippers and politicians. Very well written book.

Summary: Quick change...
Review: It has been years since FBI Special Agent Kimberla Bacon has had to go undercover to solve a mystery. But when fellow agent and friend Margo Hunter disappears, and no one seems to know anything, Kimberla is back in action.

Best known for her knack of changing her appearance at any time, during any situation, Kimberla once again utilizes her chameleon-like tendencies to go undercover as an exotic dancer. Then things start happening that indicates there is more to Margo's disappearance than meets the eye. Kimberla soon realizes that in her hasty decision to discover the truth, she may have bitten off more than she can chew. Will she be able to escape her situation unscathed and undetected?

SHADES OF A CHAMELEON was an excellent read! After reading the first few pages, I turned my television off and became immediately engrossed in this tale of murder, mystery, mayhem and yes, even some good old-fashioned romance. I enjoyed this novel so much, I have moved her previous work, Serpent in My Corner, to the top of my to be read pile. I'm anxiously awaiting her next release.

Summary: Chameleon
Review: JDaniels does it once again...Although 'Serpent in My Corner' will always be my favorite book by this author, I love the attention to detail that this writer uses with each book.

You know Michael Riley is the bad guy but you can't help being impressed with his intelligence. The romance between FBI agent Kimberla Bacon and DEA agent Jacob White is sizzling. I would have liked this book to have ended with a little more action but I can see another book coming as one of the bad guys got away!

Looking forward to see where JDaniels takes us next!

Summary: Not Great, But Not Bad
Review: This is the follow-up to Serpent In My Corner. At least it is described as a follow-up although the main characters of Serpent In My Corner never show-up except for a brief phone conversation. That truly disappointed me cause I thought we would get to find out more about Hennessey and Tristan. Anyway, Shades of A Chameleon has it all murder, sex, greed, dirty politicians and a budding romance. The budding romance falls short because you never really get to find out why Chameleon and Jacob fall in love. It is more like that lust after each other, have great sex scenes and then start feeling love. It doesn't work at all. The best part of the book is the uncover work the pair are conducting and how they go about bringing down a drug kingpin. I give the book 3 stars only because I like the gritty and (...). But JDaniels should have put more time into character development. Also, the ending is very rushed and didn't leave me satisfied. All in all, Shades is a decent book but I think Serpent is the better book and if you haven't read that one. I recommend it to really see how talented JDaniels truly is as a writer cause this one falls short definitely.

Summary: Great plot!
Review: This story had a mixture of plots that kept my interest high. I want to thank JDaniels for giving us a book that challenges some of the best suspense novels written. I do feel that the ending was rushed however. I would have like to have read a more explosive ending. But the sex and whodunit plotting still left this book a 5 star read. I'm looking forward to the next JDaniels thriller.

Summary: J Daniels did it again
Review: This was an excellant read!! I am a fan of J Daniels and she did not let me down. Kimberla Bacon(The Chameleon) went undercover to find out what happened to her best friend. What Kimberla did not bargin for was the surprise she got during her investigation. The writing was very detailed. It actually made you feel as though you were in the situations with the character's. This was a page turner from the very beginning. if you are looking for suspense then this is your book. If you are looking for a great read, then this is your book! Once I started reading this book it was very difficult to stop. I am waiting on the next J Daniels release. I would highly recommend this book!!
