Summary: This is Angela Winters' best book
Review: Angela Winters has combined romance, suspense with genealogy to create a great story. Sydney Tanner is a graduate student who is doing a genealogy project to earn some extra money. When she begins to trace the Hart family tree, she finds assorted nuts and danger. The Hart family is very well connected and someone doesn't want her to find out the family secrets. This is a great romance to read for Black History Month.

Summary: WE HAVE JUST GOT TO AGREE TO DISAGREE ON THIS ONE!
Review: I read the other five reviews on this one and that was why I went out and brought the book this week-end. About the only thing I agree about with the other reviewers is the essence of the book, which is: Young woman in need of financial assistance to complete her MBA accepts the challenge of doing a prominent family's family tree, with much chagrin to them.

Now when I first began to read this book, I was thrilled. And the more pages I read, the more excited I became. But somewhere down the line, I became frustrated with this author's handling of the story.

Now we know the heroine, Sydney Tanner had issues dating back to her childhood upbringing because we were repeatedly reminded of them in abstact flashbacks to that period in her life. At first, it was ok, but then the flashbacks became distracting.

Sydney got on my very last nerve with her "should I allow myself to fall in love or should I not" attitude. I found myself practically screaming for her to get on with it! It just became too much. I found myself reading super fast to get through with the book due to frustration and not because it did so much for me.

I sense an undercurrent of greatness which is lurking just below the surface of Ms. Winters. When that current erupts, watch out! This woman will be dynamite. But this book didn't display that to me.

Although this book will not be one I will keep to read again, I do not regret buying it nor will it deter me from buying another one of her books. Maybe I'll see that greatness erupt in one of her other books.

Don't get mad at me, I just call them like I see them!

Summary: Another One Of Angela Winters' Best!
Review: I was not surprised of how well I enjoyed this book because actually, I have enjoyed all of the books by Ms. Winters. This is one that will keep you turning the pages until the very end and then you'll hate its over. If you like books that have family issues, suspense, secrets, deceit, intimacy and an interesting plot.. THIS IS THE BOOK TO READ. If you have read an Angela Winters book, then she delivers in this one as she did with the others. It may fall in the romance genre but it has the touch of real drama. To those who have not read a book written by Ms Winters please select this one you will not be disappointed. Some of my other favorites by Ms Winters are: Sudden Love, Island Promise and Only You.

Summary: Great Book
Review: In A Forever Passion we met Sydney Tanner. A hardworking college student trying to forget the uncaring, crazy people who raised her. Her biological father was in prison. Her mother and her husband were just down right hateful toward her. Sydney decides to take a fellow student (Gabrielle Hart) up on her offer to stay at her home and research her families history to win $500 in one of her college classes. Well Sydney got more than she bargained for. She meets Gabrielle's older brother Marcus. Sparks fly.

This story had so much drama, I couldn't stop turning the pages. Everything was woven together and the characters were something else.

We all know that every family has secrets and people don't like it when something or someone threatens to reveal the family secret. Members of this family took desperate measure to ensure their family secret was not told. It actually backfired, because nothing is a secret for long. If you have not read this book, please go out and buy it. You will be glad you did.

Summary: Great Read!!
Review: Ok, some of Winters' books aren't the bomb, but this one was great. Talk about funny!! I really loved the storyline. The Harts family is something else, crazy is not the word for them. Sydney and Marcus are a very delightful couple to read about. Granted, the story's development could be trying, but it was a great story nontheless. Go out and get a copy and see for yourself just how good this novel was!
