Rating: Summary: Romantic Times Review Review: Expecting custody of her nephew, a tenderhearted teacher is shocked when a handsome doctor petitions for guardianship to preserve the boys Native American heritage. As the two work to solve their predicament, can their mutual desire become their cultural bridge? Although the heroine seems to do most of the giving, THE MARRIAGE BASKET (3) by Sharon De Vita captures reader attention with winning characters and plenty of romantic sparks.

Rating: Summary: Not worth the time Review: Sharon DeVita's "The Lady and the Sheriff" is one of my favorite Sillouette Romances - it's a keeper. I was so excited to see she had a new one out, but this book is boring and disappointing. There is no story development, no character development. You can't really see the attraction - except on the purely physical level. The same phrases were used over and over - they just seemed to be filler. It doesn't appear that she researched the Apache heritage or reservation conditions at all - which would be a pre-requisite for this type of book. I threw this one in the trash as soon as I closed it - and that was after skipping many, many pages, just to get to the end.

Rating: Summary: empty basket Review: This was a disappointing read, filled with unrealistic scenes. Once again the heroine gives up all to be with her man, and he comes to believe in the love of the one woman who can help him overcome his past. Very formulaic. Sharon de Vita can do much better!
