Rating: Summary: Deep, Engrossing, Romantic, on a scale of 1-5 stars; 6. Review: I will never forget the day when my cousin let me borrow the book. The title seemed kind of boring, but I started to read it anyway. It was absolutely wonderful. I like Clay because he helped Jackie understand that her pride was taking over too much of her. I like Jackie because she realised what she was doing wrong, and asked for forgivness. It felt as if I were actually them. I like it so much, I'm buying my own copy. That would also include Charlotte Bronte's Jane Eyre. Two books that are definetly worth more than 5 stars!
Rating: Summary: Intriguing; captivating; you can't put it down. Review: I've read this book so many times the cover is falling off. Lori Wick has the characters in this book experience everday things that the readers go through. Love, hate, betrayal, hard work, patience, loss, and the importance of God, family, and friends. This book will make you cry and make you laugh. It is a must read for any Lori Wick fan, and it leaves a lasting impression that you will carry with you. I recommend it to anyone.
Rating: Summary: Not your typical love story--Hurray! Review: Jackie & Clay...what a great love story! However, theirs was not the only love story in this book--it was so refreshing to read how the Fontaine family loved each other, whether it be tender love or "tough love" when one of them needed a change. It was so fun to read and hard to put down. I love how Wick has designed and written this series (Rocky Mountain Memories)--all the books are somehow intertwined, yet independently storied. This makes for very interesting reading.
Rating: Summary: She's outdone herself!!!! What a tale!!!! Review: Lori Wick has done it again with her deep and romantic tale of Jackie Fontaine and Clay Taggart. Jackie took a little getting used to, but who couldn't but instantly fall in love with Clay? This book also helped me learn a great lesson: if you have faith, the Lord will provide for you. And if you have faith, you will find eternal happiness and love with someone wonderful. Huzzah for Lori Wick and her amazing characters!!!!!
Rating: Summary: Love, tragedy, and suspence all rolled into one. Review: Lori Wick has done it again....I laughed, I cried, and then I cried some more.:) I was on the edge of my seat throughout the whole book. I loved this book and I hope that Lori wick continues to write more captivating Christian romances.
Rating: Summary: Another outrageous Book!!! Review: Lori Wick has really outdone herself again! Where the Wild Rose Blooms was an excellant book. I never put it down! Jackie Fontaine may have a rotten streak about her, but passion lingers at the lowest part of her heart. It is amazing how Clayton Taggart cares for her. Then something tragic happens that leaves Clay to wonder about what is going on between him and Jackie. I hope from the bottom of my heart that you will read this book and other books done by Lori Wick. The thing that draws me toward Lori Wick's books are that they teach me things. I hope you will enjoy this book as much as i have.
Rating: Summary: Loved Every Minute!!! Review: Lorie Wick became very quickly my favorite author. Her writing is so unique, so spiritual. I get to know God through her books. Where the Wild Rose Blooms is a great book. The trials that Jackie and Clay go through, the way they handle it, and the way they come out of it is so inspiring. I never thought I could find a book that would take up my entire mind and make me come back for more. I literally cried when Jackie wrote that final letter to Clay after her accident. I felt like giving Clay a hug and tell him that it was not true. I recomend this book to any one. Read it!!!!
Rating: Summary: My Favorite Book! Review: One of the best books that I have ever read! A definite page turner. There was so much that happened and so many suprises. One of Lori Wick's best! I recommend this to anyone.
Rating: Summary: A Masterpiece Review: This book is a heart-warming novel on how love can be tested by tragedy. Clayton was a warm, caring, and compassionate person that showed Jackie the way through her earth-shattering experience- a way for her to love God, and love him, unconditionally. If I could recommend any book, this would be it. This is a book that makes you laugh, cry, and understand the true meaning of love.
Rating: Summary: A Good Read (Almost 4 Stars) Review: This book is definitely one of my favorite Lori Wick books. It seems to be "deeper" than the rest. It is the story of the Fontaine family and Clayton Taggart, set in the 1870's in Colorado. "Where The Wild Rose Blooms" focuses on the romance between Clayton and Jackie, one of the Fontaine girls. I particularly liked the characters in this book. They were certainly not perfect (especially Jackie) and seemed much more believable in their flaws than some of Lori's other characters. Because of the "believability" and development of her characters, we really enjoyed the romance a lot more and felt very rewarded when it happened-even though we knew it was coming. This is a nice, fun, and sometimes thought-provoking read that you'll enjoy.
