Summary: Chocolate Decadence
Review: I will never think of chocolate ice cream the same way again. This book sizzles with sensuality, but at the same time it delivers a poignant social message without the preaching. Alcoholism is a disease, and this author handles the issue with finesse. Great book!

Summary: Complex, Convoluted, and Absolutely Wonderful!
Review: It takes tremendous talent to pull off a story like this one. Deb does it with superior skill. Her characters are people I'd love to know, or hate to meet. The complexities of this book will intrigue and astound you. She makes time travel work in a way that couldn't have been easy to write. Her knowledge of the disease of alcoholism is dead-on. "Almost An Angel" won't disappoint you in any way. Great piece of work, Deb!

Summary: Queen of the Ghost Romance
Review: Nobody writes paranormal better than Deb Stover. She *makes* you believe -- even if her characters may have a little trouble! ALMOST AN ANGEL will float into your heart. (I think the comment from Oneida says more about her than about this book.)

Summary: Author's explanation of genre.
Review: Thank you for featuring ALMOST AN ANGEL at Amazon.com. I'm pleased to see it on your "Supernatural Romance" Bestseller List for several weeks. While it is a ghost story, it's also a time travel. Thanks again. ~ Deb

Summary: Almost an Angel by Deb Stover
Review: This book has it all. Adventure, romance, warmth, humor, and depth. The hero, Zach Ryan, is a recovering alcoholic who's just inherited a ghost town. When he arrives, he meets the one and only resident of Columbine, Colorado--Hilary Brown. Hilary was hanged for murder over a century ago, and she's been waiting for someone to serve, in order to earn her way out of Transition and into Heaven. I've never seen time travel, the Afterlife, or a satisfying ending handled this well. Ms. Stover's love scenes absolutely sizzle, and I'll never think of chocolate ice cream quite the same way again. Alcoholism is handled without preaching, though the author's compassion for sufferers of this disease and their loved ones comes through loud and clear. There's also a character with a disability--the heroine's little brother. He's a joy and adds so much to the story! The love between the characters is touching, and it made me cry in places. I loved this book, and I will buy everything this author writes from

Summary: Almost an Angel by Deb Stover
Review: This book made me laugh, made me cry, and kept me up all night. It touches on the issue of alcoholism and disability without preaching, and I really appreciated that. The humor is laugh out loud funny, and the love scenes are the best I've ever read. Chocolate ice cream anyone?

Summary: Heartwarming Story
Review: This story is beautiful. The characters are so well drawn, I found myself lying awake at night to think about them. I want Nellie Brown's story now. I hope the author will give it to us. Almost an Angel is sexy and funny and wonderful.
