She writes about the same chararters and by the time I fininshed - NO SECOND CHANCE - I felt like I knew them as friends. Harris has a good combination of police investigation and romance. I f you like fun and easy reading, you need to read Harris.

I don't have that much time every day to devote to my pleasures and this book was great. Harris has an easy style and just adds enough information to make the book enjoyable. She had wonderful characters that show up in each of her books.

The Captain's Fund introduced the main characters - I love each of them. TCF flowed from page to page making it very difficult to put it down. If you enjoy romance and a good investigation, try this one and I know you won't be disappointed.

Most of the time it takes a while for the aurthor to pull the pieces together - not Harris. I was hooked from the first chapter. I liked the romance that Raina laced throughout the murder investigation.

The fast pace and twists and turns kept me reading well into the night. The setting was the island of St Maarten and I felt as though I was there. The characters were interesting and i look forward to reading about them again in the next two Harris books.
