Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Wonderful page turner
Review: I liked the fast pace and carefully crafted story. Harris mixed a complex police investigation with a tender romance and set the whole book on St Maarten. I fell in love with the characters.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Wonderful vacation read
Review: I really enjoyed the book and the characters. I was on St Maarten when I bought the book and liked how i could visit the spots mentioned in The Captain's Fund. Harris has a nice way of melting romance into a tough murder investigation.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Wonderful!!!
Review: I bought the book when I was in St Maarten. I loved it. The pace was fast and the characters were so real. Harris told the story in a way that flowed from page 1 to the end. Every chapter prepared you for the next - I couldn't put it down. I went on to read the other books by Harris.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Entertaining - Good reading
Review: I saw the interview of Harris in the St Maarten Nights magazine and bought the book. I'm glad i did. I enjoy books as my entertainment and Harris didn't let me down. The story started on the first page and involved me right then. Since I was on St Maarten at the time I read The Captain'd Fund, I spent time driving to the places mentioned in the book. What a great time!!

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Absolutely Fascinating
Review: I had so much fun reading this book. I enjoyed the fast pace and the wonderful characters that Harris created. The story captured me from the beginning and entertained me until the end. Harris has two other books that I've read and I can't wait the the next.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: I got into the story by the end of chapter one
Review: It just didn't stop. I liked how Harris kept the story moving by her characters and by the police work. The setting of St Maarten made it even more interesting. Harris adds enough description for you to know what's happeneing and doesn't make you wade through pages of stuff that's not keen to the story. If you like relationships and romance readd this one!

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Never stopped
Review: This book is for all tastes - poeple who like suspense, romance and murder. Harris introduces a set of characters that are so life like. I liked how harris moves the story with the police investigation and how she weaves in relationship and romance.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: A wonderful weekend read
Review: I've read all four books by Harris. Each book has been delightful. She has the same characters and has made them so real. harris doesn't bog you down in a lot of detail. She has just enough to tell you the story.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Quick reading
Review: This book grabbed you from the beginning and kept you reading until the last page. Harris created real characters that she brings back in each of her stories. Harris doesn't fill the book with extra information you have to wade through..it's lean and mean.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: More than a mystery
Review: Harris writes a good love story in the middle of an exciting police investigation. This one is set on St Maarten - wonderful place for two people to fall in love. The story is fast moving and doesn't quit until the last page.
