Summary: not my cup of tea...
Review: I quit this book half way through. While the writing is good, I just couldn't "root" for these characters. I think the main problem is that the hero, is a known rake and womanizer-but no reasoning behind his actions, as well as no redeeming features about him surfaced early enough in the story to "win me over" to liking the characters.

The heroine is likable enough-but does several stupid, and possibly dangerous stunts, that make her a little TSTL. If you enjoy rakes then this may be a book that is more your taste.

Review: In "Taming Angelica," Ms. Chambers delivers a thoroughly modern heroine set in Victorian times. Angelica is quick witted and funny, and a delight to follow. The relationship she has with the hero, Will, is most appealing, as their business arrangement turns into much more.

Review: TAMING ANGELICA is quite a departure from my earlier work as Alice Gaines. Where those books were dark and Gothic-y, TAMING ANGELICA is light and funny. A Victorian romp.

Summary: A funny, hot book
Review: This is a great book by an author I've never heard of. It's set in Victorian London and tells the story of two people who start out to use each other for selfish purposes and end up falling in love. The love scenes sizzle.

I'll definitely look for more books by this author.
