Summary: Award-winning author Marsha Canham's Breathtaking new book..
Review: ...transports readers to Regency England as a young woman rescues a mysterious man, only to find love, danger, destiny...

"They have to know the truth. Before it is too late." Those were the half-naked stranger's only words as he opened his eyes, looked into her soul, then lost consciousness in the shallow tidal pool. Annaleah Fairchilde, heiress and noble-woman, soon learned the identity of the man she saved: Emory Althorpe, adventurer, accused traitor, and Napoleon's spy. Even as she bound the dangerous scoundrel's wounds, she fell deeper under the spell of a man handsome as the devil, sent to her by fate.

He remembered nothing. Only the need to escape. Emory Althorpe was wanted for treason, yet his only hope was a shadowy memory hovering just beyond his grasp, and beautiful Anna, who aroused unexpected passions. He had no choice but to abduct her, needing her to gain access to London's ballrooms, where he could prove his innocence. Together they raced into the face of danger, determined to find the key to his past and live--or die--together, as destiny decreed....

Summary: Marsha Canham Swept Me Away
Review: A lushly drawn, well-researched historical with non-stop adventure and an unforgettable hero and heroine. Rory and Anna are intelligent, honorable, courageous - and witty. How refreshing to have a heroine who, despite her youth, can think and act quickly when the need arises, instead of passively letting others in her life determine her future. She sees through the morass of rumors about Emory's past to the man who needs her. Rory is capable of violence, but also of great gentleness and integrity. And it doesn't hurt that he's gorgeous. The dialogue sparkles and the secondary characters are engaging - Aunt Florence deserves a book of her own! And the plot is constantly surprising the reader, which kept me turning the pages until late into the night.

This is a book for all Canham fans, and for anyone who wants an adventure with an all star cast!

Summary: Swept Away will Sweep you Away!
Review: Another breath taking novel from Ms. Canham. She has done it again with wonderful, insightful characters as well taught some interesting facts about the Napolean era. This is one of those books you can't put down for you're waiting to see "what comes next". You'll bite your nails with the intrigue and start playing the guessing game of "whodunit?" Sensual, sexy with some tightly strung tension, this marks her best work yet. You won't be disappointed.

Summary: Highly recommended
Review: At first, I passed by SWEPT AWAY because the cover misled me. It looks like the cover of one of those contemporary women's fiction novels that I don't enjoy. But inside is just the sort of story I really likea Regency-period historical, with a great romance, a heart-stopping plot, and real historical characters. In most romances set in this period, Napoleon is a distant tyrant. In this book, he actually appears.

The heroine, Annaleah Fairchilde, discovers on the beach a half-drowned, mostly naked man. He is, of course, well-built, good-looking, bearing the scars of physical torture, and missing his memory. He is also being hunted as a traitor to England, responsible for Napoleon's escape from Elba and suspected of a plot to save Napoleon from exile to St. Helena. Annaleah has good reason to believe he may be innocent, mostly because of the endorsement of her aunt, who knew him as a boy. She becomes involved in his attempt to find out the truth about himself and to end the nefarious doings of the real traitor.

If you like a complex plot, well developed with all the secrets revealed at just the right time, you will enjoy this book. If you like a romance laced with sexual tension and interesting encounters, you will enjoy it. If you like historicals that touch on real events, you will enjoy it. It was a book that I had difficulty putting down.

Summary: Excellent
Review: I admit I have come late to discovering the Canham books, but since I now have all but the first three that are out of print and impossible to find, the pleasure of reading most of them within a four month period has been wonderful. She fills each book with adventure, non-stop excitment, and characters you feel you could bump into coming out of the house next door.

Aunt Florence, from Swept Away is priceless. I could see her waving her cane around and wacking everyone on the shin if they weren't paying attention. Anna is no doorstop either, and has some genuinely heartfelt lines, like when she tells Emory she liked him better when he had no memory.

Emory just makes me sigh. I kept looking back at the artwork and nodding my head. It was him. I only wish it had been me walking on that beach.

Summary: Totally captivating!
Review: I love this book. After finishing it I have no wonder why other readers always give it 5 stars. The story was very well created. The book is full of thrilling intrigues and twists and turns. It's simply a very entertaining and perhaps the most sexiest read and I just couldn't put it down. The heroine, Annaleah Flairchilde, falls in love with the hero, Emory Althorpe, very quickly because he is so charming and beautiful. Emory is washed away unconscious on the shore and is found by Anna. He awakes with no memory and he is accused of being a traitor and treason. Anna is a strong-willed and brave woman once she believes he is innocent, she is determined to go with him to find out the truth before it is too late. There are enemies to fight with and secrets and plots lie in wait for they to resolve. As they go together, Emory also cares for Anna. He even risks his life to keep his promise to get rose oil for her. Beware of Lord Barrimore, he almost makes me believe that he is truly a hero. Swept Away is the very best book with unforgettable characters that will live in your hearts forever. You must not miss this one if you are a fan of Regency.

Summary: Exciting regency romance
Review: In 1815, her parents exiled Annaleah Fairchilde for disobeying them when they demanded she marries her latest suitor, but she refused. The Earl of Witham and his spouse send their obstinate daughter to spend time rusticating with her eccentric Aunt Florence just outside the remote town of Brixham.

Instead of quiet boredom, Annaleah finds an unconscious man, lying naked on the nearby beach. When Emory Althorpe awakens he knows he has information that will save England and clear his name of treason. However, Emory's memory is fuzzy. Annaleah refuses to accept the fact that the kind Emory is a traitor. She decides to help him, but the Ton believe he kidnapped her. As they work together to regain the secret buried in his mind; they begin to fall in love. However, before considering a long-term relationship, Annaleah and Emory must deal with his enemies, who work for Napoleon. They are trying to kill them to insure nothing-new surfaces.

SWEPT AWAY is an exciting Regency romance filled with intrigue and passion. The lead characters are an endearing couple whose actions are condemned by the Ton. The support cast adds depth that make the late Napoleonic era in England seem vividly alive. The story line is non-stop action as the suspense grows until the very last page. Marsha Canham continues to provide her audience with some of the most thrilling historical romance tales obtainable today.
