Rating: Summary: Enjoyable Review: Although it wasn't one of my favorites, I actually liked this book. There might have been too much bedroom scenes, but they weren't gross like other books out there. Also, the book draws emotion from the readers, where you feel that the characters were truly in love. I thought that the love between the two characters was realistic.
Rating: Summary: A Kiss remembered Review: I almost finished this book. I kept reading because I simply couldn't believe that this apparently very prolific author had managed to write an entire book based on nothing. This is my first and last book by Sandra Brown. There are too many wonderful books that deserve our attention to waste time with a book this puerile that has nothing redeeming in it. I'm assuming this is not an aberration, but a continuation of Sandra Brown's "style."

Rating: Summary: BAD CONNECTION Review: I DONT THINK I SHOULD EVEN DO A REVIEW OF THIS BOOK, BUT I WOULD LIKE OTHER READERS TO KNOW HOW I FELT ABOUT THIS BOOK. I WAS SO SURPRISED THAT THIS BOOK EVEN GOT PUBLISHED. I THOUGHT TEACHERS GOT INTO BIG TROUBLE FOR THIS KIND OF STUFF, BUT TO MAKE A LOVE STORY ABOUT IT WAS VERY WRONG. IT MAKES IT SOUND OKAY FOR A TEACHER TO KISS ONE OF HIS STUDENTS AND THEN TO TURN IT AROUND AND HAVE THEM FALL IN LOVE, I JUST DIDN'T APPRECIATE THAT. I REALLY LIKE SANDRA BROWN'S WORK BUT I THINK SHE COULD HAVE KEPT THIS OUT OF HER COLLECTION.
Rating: Summary: Stupidest book I've read in a long time! Review: I have enjoyed Sandra Brown books in the past but this one is awful! I wish I could give it 0 stars. The plot is lame, the main character is a limp dishrag, and the dialogue is painful to read. No real life people act the way these characters do. The scenario is so dated--any university instructor who acts like Grant would be up on charges of sexual harrassment and deservedly so.

Rating: Summary: A "Classic" high school romance Review: I just had to put this book down. My definition of a classic is something that transcends the time it was written. This book, obviously a very early one, does nothing to showcase the tremendous talent we know Sandra Brown has. This is a "high schooler".
Rating: Summary: A Little More Plot, please Review: I picked up this book when I read a description which piqued my interest. If the woman and man shared a wonderful moment years ago, how would they respond to each other in a teacher/student situation in the present? What kind of classroom atmosphere would prevail, and what kind of personal relationship/friendship might they develop? Unfortunately, the author felt that the two should rush into scenes of sexual intimacy immediately, leaving the plot stuck in a recurring pattern of: He:"Yes, you want me" She: "No, I don't" He:"Yes, you do" She:"Well...yeah, you're right." I also have problems with a morality which makes it ok for him to continue to force himself on her when she says "no" because he "knows" (albeit correctly) she means "yes". Nowadays on a college campus, she would have solid grounds for a sexual harrassment suit. Perhaps I'm just not up on behavior in the romance genre, but I can see lots of ways for this relationship to blossom without constant trips to the bedroom. Sandra Brown is a good author who has improved with age (as we all do!), I think she just hadn't found her stride when this was written almost 20 years ago.
Rating: Summary: Farthest thing from a "classic love story" Review: I totaly agree with previous reviewer. Not enough plot, too many unrealistic bedroom scenes, poor dialog. I also found the male character ignoring the female saying NO troubling too. Not a good way to portray this type of situation at all. This is the first book I've read by Sandra Brown and I am not impressed. I have no idea why a publishing company would re-release this 20 year old story. It is a waste of time and money as far as I'm concerned.
Rating: Summary: Lacked everything you normally get with a Sandra Brown novel Review: I wanted to give this book a chance, even though I knew she had written it years ago, but I just could not finish this book. I didn't like the plot, I didn't even like the characters. Blah. I can recommend, however, a spine-tingling lovefest in The Color of Revenge by Millicent Hart. Not one to miss.
