Summary: A NEW FAN!
Review: Being a person never willing to read, never mind buy a romance novel...on the suggestion of a friend I read this one, and became a fan of Ms O'Day...reading all her books..even taking the time to get out of print ones such as Sunsets and Seasons. She not only shares a joy of life and love in her books, but adds spirituality, stength and individuality to her characters, and allows us to 'soar' with them...in spirit {for those that can't in mind} Thanks for all your work Connie!

Summary: Yuck.
Review: I actually really *like* time travel romance and have previously found this author's work at least entertaining if not outstanding. This book however was egregiously awful. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY. Heroine annoying, hero boring (though supporting characters not too bad). Between introductions, afterwords, ads for other books, etc etc, you're not getting nearly as much novel as you think you are, but I guess given the quality of this book that's not all bad. The nearly non-existent plot is hopelessly uninteresting and completely peters out toward the end. I can't believe I stuck it out til the end - it never did improve.

Summary: THE WORST ROMANCE NOVEL THAT I'VE EVER READ!
Review: I actually wouldn't even give this book 1 star, but I had to pick something. The cover of the book said that Constance O'Day-Flannery is "the queen of time travel romance"...I beg to differ. The characters are so LAME! I never got the feeling that Maggie and Nick/Aiden were "true flames"! I can't believe that I actually paid for this book! If you want a really GOOD time travel romance, I suggest reading Lynn Kurland. For the ULTIMATE book in this genre, then read Diana Gabladon's "Outlander" series! Lynn and Diana knows how to develop the main characters in their books. They make you fall in love with them and want to root for them to get and stay together. I'm wondering WHO deemed Ms. O'Day-Flannery the "queen of time travel romance". In my book, she's just a "lady's maid in-waiting"!

Summary: Destiny and Time Travel
Review: I am a huge fan of well written, believable romantic writing. Though usually, I do not read a lot of time travel romance, this book may change that. I do believe in destiny, and this book offered just the right mix of destiny, chance, realism and fantasy to draw me into the characters and into the realm of time travel that Constance O'Day Flannery writes so well. I have read several of her books over the past few months and am looking forward to the next one... True romantic's, and I know there are many of you out there, will enjoy this book tremendously...

Summary: Review from a non-romance reader
Review: I am a major science-fiction reader and, in fact, never read romance novels. My usual response to those books? Ewwwww, they're so sweet they'll put me in a diabetic coma. Then I came upoon Ms. Flannery's books. My response to them? WOW, these are good! I found Once and Forever to have the perfect mix of romance, adventure, sensitivity, and spirituality. The themes in the book are deep and thought-provoking. Now, if only Ms. Flannery could send me back in time to meet my Nick. :)

Summary: This book left loose ends
Review: I have bought and shared all of Constance's books and I believe in metaphysical theories, but this book was wierd. I liked the addition of parallel worlds, but it was done in a way that didn't make any sense and at the end of the book there were loose ends that never got answered. I kept wishing I could re-write the plot. Needless to say, I won't be passing this book on to anybody.

Summary: Delightful...
Review: I love the new direction Constance O'day-Flanner's writing has taken.. I thoroughly enjoyed taking that she took things that have been mainstream knowledge for so long that when new information is discovered people don't even seem to hear it...

Summary: Shakespeare in Love!
Review: I loved this book! Constance O'Day Flannery is one of my favorite authors. Her books are warm uplifting, funny and intelligent. ONCE AND FOREVER renews your faith in true love. The heroine, Maggie, has fallen on hard times, so when her aunt invites her to England, she goes, never dreaming that she will meet a real knight in shining armor. What happens after is the adventure of a lifetime, especially when Maggie discovers the true identity of our William Shakespeare. The secondary characters are as charming as the hero and heroine, as the 'aunts' add their own special humor and wisdom to this well written tale. ONCE IN A LIFETIME will be one of the favorite books this year.
