Rating: Summary: A lively, entertaining story Review: This is the first paranormal romance I've read and I will definitely be reading more of them. Lately, I've tired of reading romances that were constant "drawing room" scenes between the hero and heroine with the same old banter and not any suspense to speak of. This story kept me turning pages, especially to find out how Serena was killed and how she was connected to the cherry tree. Plus, she was such a fun, interesting character and Alex was different, too. For a change, he wasn't a Duke or a Rancher! I liked the humor in the book and the wonderful secondary characters, especially Beth and Rhys. I do recommend this one.
Rating: Summary: A lively, entertaining story Review: Unusual. You actually get to tail along with Serena, the ghost, as she tries wholeheartedly to get rid of everyone in her castle. It's men she despises, and her attempts of scaring them away are quite humorous. Alex, who fell in love with the castle as a child, isn't budging. He's already had a run in with Serena many years ago when he was a boy. Now he's returned as a man and wants some peace and quite to study the stars. Serena's decided to give Alex anything but. Lisa Cach is a talented young writer and I couldn't wait to see how she planned on ending this book. I wasn't to crazy about the ending( yes! it was happy! aren't they all?)but I really can't see the book ending any other way.

Rating: Summary: Highly Recommended Ghost Story Review: What a wonderful treat! I am always looking for authors who are creative and willing to take risks in romance. Lisa Cach is now on my list of authors to buy and keep. Our heroine, Serena, is not your same-ole, same-ole heroine. She is a strong-willed woman, who by the way, has suffered in life, and now intends to make trouble for others, especially men who seek a home in the Maiden Castle. Laughing. This novel is fun. It will make you laugh but will also tug at your heart and maybe bring a tear or two to your eyes. It's one of the best ghost stories that I have read in romance. Ms. Cach has good skills too. She can actually plot!!!!!!!!! And her prose is simple and clear. This is a terribly romantic book, with some of the best dialogue around. Don't miss it. I loved it, and it's a keeper on my romance shelf!
