Summary: Not what I expected...
Review: I was not impressed by this book. I read this author's previous book "One Woman Short" and enjoyed it, this current book left me feeling oh well.I was intrigued by the excerpt, but wasn't excited by the content. I expected a different connection between the books characters. I figured out the connection of the characters early and somehow lost my enthusiasm for the story. It was good in that it explored the world of cyberspace and the willingness in which people will freely express things over that medium. The erotic nature of the book kept me interested however, the scenes were often a laugh or a bit too strange for my tastes. The characters came across as unrealistic in certain instances. It was not the worst book I've read, but it's not a book that I'll recommend to anyone.

Review: If you enjoyed Married Men, The Hearts of Men, or E.J. Dickey's works, then you will enjoy Show and Tell. It's descriptive enough to make you tingle, but not overdone. The author is candid, the characters are real, and the book reads VERY fast!

Review: Nelson George gets down and dirty in this tribute to sex, sex, and more sex. Dean appears conservative to the outside world, a producer of a highly rated talk show, he resists turning changing the format of the show to a more sexual theme. But it doesn't take long for him to warm up to the idea though he still as his reservations. The research is the best part of the job. He loves his fiancee Millie, but the allure of Bee Cole is too much temptation. How far will he go? How low will he go? This book explores some of things you may have dreamed or thought about but don't have the nerve. On-line sex chats, menage a trois, swinging; this is the world that is explored. The book however gives just enough and doesn't saturate you with detail that would could otherwise make this a work of borderline pornography. This is very tastefully done and has some humorous scenes.

Review: Reading Show and Tell was the most fun I've had reading a book in a while. This is a book whose subject matter centers around sex, and although it could get "steamy" at times, I never found it disgusting or raunchy. Nelson George pulls off writing an engaging book that caught me from the "Godiva Chocolates scene" up until the very last page. The main character, Dean Chance, was a man who THOUGHT his woman satisfied him, especially in the bedroom, but after he meets a temptress named Bee Cole, his world was literally turned upside down. Bee was the kind of lady who saw what she wanted (in this case, Dean) and she got exactly whom she wanted! Readers looking for a hard-to-put-down book that has some sex thrown in for good measure should definitely check this book out and soon!
