Rating: Summary: WOW-Never a dull moment!!! Review: This book was impossible to put down! Kat always had something going on with who... have to wait and see what color of phone has left a message. Kat's a cab driver that has five lives with five VERY different people all at the same time. She gets what she needs from each of them and when she done with them she retreats to her safe place, her cab. Until one night when a man gets in her cab with his "friend" that has had too much to drink, and her world would never be the same. Twinkle is what she calls him because of the spark she sees in his eyes. When their worlds collide, you know that there will be trouble! This book is a very easy read and once you start you won't be able to put it down!
Rating: Summary: If you like Bridget Jones' Diary... Review: This has a similar feel to it. At least it starts out that way but does get more complex as the story and characters develop. It's a good summer read; the characters are engaging and there is more depth than initially meets the eye. Kathryn Cheet is a London cabbie with 5 lovers. She takes none of them lightly and cares deeply about each as each fulfills some missing part of her. A sixth man throws a wrench into her life and you'll just have to read it to find out what happens. Not as clearcut as it might sound.
Rating: Summary: Great summertime story! Review: This is a great summertime read, perfect beachblanket fare. Katheryn is a girl with a job that gives her a lot of freedom, which she takes advantage of by having 5 boyfriends. She keeps track of them by giving them each a different cell phone number, and only answering each phone if she feels like talking to her man of the moment. But what happens when Kat finds someone she could really care about? A new phone or a new life?Very enjoyable!
Rating: Summary: If we all could Cheet???? Review: This novel is a great summer read. The characters are fully drawn as well as the environment. You can almost smell the fumes from the cab before it gets cleaned or smell the scent of the youngest lover. Cool novel, storyline keeps moving, and would be a great adaptation to the big screen or at least Lifetime tv. Pick it up today!
Rating: Summary: Not what I expected....much better! Review: When I picked this up, I was expecting a frothy lit-lite beach book. Five lovers, five cell phones, ducking and dodging to keep it all going. And for lazy summer reading, that would have been just fine. I was thoroughly surprised and delighted to discover that Anna Davis is a really good writer. Her characters are three dimensional, and I got more caught up in discovering who they are and why...than in the situations. Great fun on any level.
