Rating: Summary: this is sooooooo funny! Review: My gosh this book is so funny. I started reading it and I couldn't put it down. It's got many things women can relate to when trying to find a man and it's just sooooo funny. I finished reading it and I'm going to need to read it again I'm sure. Great job Toni! You're a genius.

Rating: Summary: Witty account of a contemporary female's encounters with men Review: Toni Petniunas is the modern day offspring of Fanny Hill and Tom Jones. Beginning with her youth in middle America, Petniunas recounts her life's adventures with the male species. Funny and caustic, "men are like dogs" and Toni asks dogs to forgive the analogy. I got an advance copy from the author and enjoyed reading her experiences -- romance run afoul. You get a great sense of a lusty zesty young woman and her would-be Lotharios -- starting with a 7 year old "A" and through to "N". Ironic essays on her miserable failures with men that can make you laugh out loud. It's a great "dis" of men and contemporary mores told like a disgruntled Erma Bombeck with ruthless wit. What also comes through is a woman who is not afraid to try for love, again and again. It's a first book written by a mature voice.
