Rating: Summary: So much for Time Travel Review: I didn't like this book, not the heroine, nor the hero. You can't tell me that a aunt could murder two women and several babies under the hero's nose and he not know it. I found the heroine a ditz and the hero to be a fool. I know that not everyone carries a high IQ, but neither are people really that stupid. I had hoped for better.
Rating: Summary: The Best Yet! Review: I've read ALL of Thomasina Ring's books (Time Spun Treasures, Dream Catcher, and Time Spun Rapture) and they just keep getting better. (too bad the last two are out of print, but maybe the publisher will bring them back!) Not only are they historically accurate, they're titillating, and let's face it, that's why we read romance, isn't it? Believe me, once you start reading the story of Meredith Davis, you won't be able to put it down! I hope the author graces us with a new book very soon!
Rating: Summary: A treasure of a book Review: Of all the Romance novels I've read, I like Time-Spun Treasure the best. The author skillfully induces the reader into suspending reality and accepting the possibility that people--and their possessions--can travel back through time. Along the way she employs clever devices such as 20th century colored contact lenses to confuse 18th century denizens. The story is a blend of science fiction, historical novel, and murder mystery...all deftly woven together in the context of a scorching love affair. The plot is a page-turner and the dénouement quite satisfying. I give it two thumbs up and four stars.SS in ValP
