Rating: Summary: A ready-made family? Elizabeth doesn't think so! Review: Guy Sanford has three kids, one smelly dog and horrible taste in clothes. He also has eyes for Elizabeth Louden, a woman he'd be crazy to chase. She seems cold and aloof until he begins to thaw her icy exterior. Beneath it he finds a warm woman who's heart is her most beautiful feature. Templeton does a great job of portraying a relationship that includes a pre-made family. The kids act like kids. They fight, they whine and they wormed their way into Elizabeth's heart, as well as mine. Guy is a man trying to do everything and frequently falling short. But he picks himself up and just keeps on trying. The love and tenderness he has with his children and with Elizabeth is the mark of a true hero in my book. Watching the relationship between Guy and Elizabeth overcome the odds and flourish was a true reading pleasure.

Rating: Summary: Opposites distract! Review: Guy Sanford has three kids. And a ponytail. And an earring. And three kids. Elizabeth Louden has never even taken care of a goldfish before. His favorite color is LOUD. Her wardrobe ranges from understated to conservative. Having nothing left to lose, he'll risk anything for his children's happiness. Having already lost, she's not about to risk anything. Especially her heart. Could Fate really be this mean? How, for the first time in her controlled, boring existence, could she be feeling sparks over this. . .this MAN with the-bedroom-is-right-this-way blue eyes and the fashion sense of a visually impaired gypsy? And is there any way she can possibly look into those impossibly blue eyes -- as well as those of his hurting little girl -- and just walk away? As if. I hope you enjoy ANYTHING FOR HIS CHILDREN, with its blend of humor and emotion, as much as I enjoyed writing it. And later in 2000, come back for two more stories set in fictitious Spruce Lake, Michigan, as two other couples discover that love happens, usually at the most inconvenient times, or between the two most unlikely people.

Rating: Summary: PLACE THIS BOOK IN YOUR LIBRARY! Review: Most any story that includes kids tends to be really good. This books belongs to the subseries "Families are Forever" and really express that thought. Great humor, wonderful story, and excellent addition to your library -- keep for a second and a third read -------- especially as it intoduces you to Nancy Shapiro in the "Expectantly Yours" series -- ANYTHING FOR HER MARRIAGE -- Another great follow-up book.

Rating: Summary: Down-to-earth and rollicking! Review: Thought I would try a new author and was pleasantly surprized to find a real winner. This lady knows kids, understands single parenting and is able to convey the message of "blended" families. Just loved the comments on the sagging panty hose [the necessary bane of polite society]. The blurb in front says she lives in SW, but she knows Michigan. Very realistic. However, it was truly a romance. Looking forward to reading her books in 2000.
