Rating: Summary: Very Romantic Story Review: I have probably read at least 40 of Cassie Edwards books and yet never tire of them. In this story I was caught offguard with the characters. They were a wonderful match. The story had a great flow and as always I am amazed at the amount of time and research that Cassie puts into her stories. Another Great Book for her.
Rating: Summary: Terrible Review: I know that all romance books have the same theme. Love conquers all. All Indian romance books has the same themes. Either the man has kipnapped a woman and she comes to love him or the man and the woman somethow go on a journey, and they come to love each other. We already know this before we even read the book. Some authors are better at wiring this same old storyline that makes it seem fresh and new than others. Cassie Edwards is not one ot these writers. Everytime I read her books I get the same story over and over again. They fall in love at first sight, minor conflict that is resolved in the next 10 pages. Another thing, Cassie Edwads needs to research Indian culture instead of romanticizing it. A chief did not have absolute authority over any Indian. Indian chiefdom was not a hereditary institution. She never writes about Indian and white conflicts. It is a fact of history that Indians did fight, they just didn't plow the fields, dance, and make love to white women. Everytime I read this garbage I cringe, because she is giving the wrong information to people who have little or no knowledge on Indian culture. All her heros are Indian chiefs who are in love at first sight with a white woman. Then she'll write no one wants to oppose their chief. I cringe at that, like I said, no chief's control was abolute. The people had the power to do what they wanted. Cassie Edwards for the sake of your fans, please do accurate reseach on Native Americans.
