Rating: Summary: thunder mountain Review: I have read all of Rachel Lee's books that she wrote regarding the series Conard County.I enjoyed all of them except this one. I found this one to be very disappointing. It did not capture my attention like all of the others did.
Rating: Summary: Conrad COunty offering! Review: Originally printed as Silhouette Shadows. Part of the Conrad County series! It was scarcely possible to believe, but Mercy Kendrick could not escape the sensation that the storm-racked mountain looking down on Conard County was a living, breathing entity -- a being so powerful it could destroy and unwelcome mortal in an instant... And none of the mountain's dangers was more terrifying than Gray Cloud -- silent guardian of a place that had been sacred to his people since the beginning of time. And yet, despite whispered warnings -- and her own trembling heart, she could not keep away from this seductively sinister man...
Rating: Summary: The Best Dreamscape Review: Thunder Mountain is the best of the first four Dreamscape reissues. I enjoyed it when it first came out as Silhouette Shadows 37 and thought it was just as good seven years later. Mercy Kendrick is trapped on Thunder Mountain with a Native American hermit she can't trust and men trying to kill her tracking her down. It gets worse. Gray Cloud is his people's guardian of the mountain, and he says the mountain is alive, angry and now wants them dead! This book is unlike any other I've ever read! It's full of passion, action, romance, danger and an otherworldly threat. The love story is tender and the paranormal plot totally fresh and new. Rachel Lee fans know she is a special kind of writer and I love the way she did this one. Thunder Mountain is also a Conard County book for fans of the series. If you buy one Dreamscape, this should be it.
