Summary: try this author's other pen names
Review: I just reread Shield's Lady the other day and it is a great book. My copy is printed under the name Jayne Ann Krentz. I have of ton of this woman's stuff. She has written several other sci-fi romances similiar to this one but in different worlds - Orchid, Amarylis, Zinnia, Sweet Starfire, Gift of Gold etc. Some of her new futuristic stuff is being published under the name Jayne Castle. She also writes under the names Amanda Quick (historicals), and Stephanie James (short contemporaries). If you have books of hers under this Glass name they are probably worth much more than cover price!

Summary: Fun!
Review: I own all of jayne krentz's books, all of her books writing as jayne castle and amanda quick and quite a few as stephanie james. i think i appreciate the touchs of humor more than any other thing except for the obvious romance she brings to all her writings I wish she would do more futuristic novels; she has a sure deft touch in the genre.

Summary: Fun!
Review: If you are a fan of Jayne Ann Krentz's humor and full story plots, like fantasy and romance this book is for you. I fully enjoyed it as well as Sweet Starfire and Crytal Flame. I own most of her books and re-read them all more than once. I think if you do enjoy these books you will also enjoy her "flower" series of books written as Jayne Castle - "Amarylis", "Orchid" and "Zinnia".

Summary: Great Book. Jayne Ann Krentz does it again
Review: If you liked Jayne Ann Krentz's 'Jayne Castle' books you will like these too. There is more fantasy in "Shield's Lady" and the other Glass books: "Sweet Starfire" & "Crystal Flame", then in the Castle books. Unfortunatly, the Glass books are not connected together. The plot is solid with great dialog and plenty of action and suspense. The culture of the world is fully fleshed-out with significant differences from ours. There is plenty of originality. I hope she uses this world again.
