Rating: Summary: Some things are better forgotten Review: Back Cover description: SHE COULDN'T REMEMBER...He said he was her husband, but Claire had no recollection of New Orleans titan Matt Gallagher--or the luxurious life he claimed they'd shared. Though she couldn't deny the passion his virile presence aroused, she didn't dare give in to the rush of powerful emotions. Especially since she sensed her alleged husband wasn't telling her all...HE COULDN'T FORGET! When Claire turned up with no memory of their separation, Matt seized the opportunity to reclaim his wife--and protect her from her mysterious assailant. Matt could face any danger--except the danger of losing the love of his life...Like the reviewer from Royal Palm Beach FL, I too am tired of the amnesia stories, but this one was different. Claire learns to love Matt all over again, this time seeing how important she really is to him. She also realizes that she was the one with the problems in this marriage. The mystery helps move the story along, but doesn't take over too much of the plot. Matt is a guy who is really trying to convince his wife of his love and caring. Likable characters, good story that is slightly different and New Orleans--what's not to like!
Rating: Summary: Wife With Amnesia Review: I just finished reading Wife With Amnesia by Metsy Hingle and I highly recommend the book. On a good week I read about five romance books and I always look forward to Ms. Hingle's books. I've read them all!! Once again this book gets off to a quick start hooking the reader immediately. I loved the characters Claire and Matt. Metsy has a real gift in making me have an immediate connection with her characters. In the case of Claire, just as Metsy did with Cole Thornton in The Baby Bonus (Desire 1295), she creates a character whose past plays such a vital part in the person she has become. Metsy does that so effortlessly. I just love that. So, to sum this up, if you are looking for a well-written book that you have difficulty putting dow with really great characters, get this book today. Based on how well I liked Wife With Amnesia and all her previous books, I've already pre-orderd Ms. Hingle's next book The Wager which will be out in August. I can't wait!!

Rating: Summary: Don't let the title scare you off. Review: Many of us are tired of the amnesia, cowboys, secret babies themes. Even though this book's title is Wife with Amnesia, this book is much more than just amnesia. As soon as I started reading this book, I was rooting for the hero and the heroine. Way to go, Metsy! I can't wait for The Wager to come out.

Rating: Summary: You might want to 'forget' this book... Review: Matt takes advantage of the fact that his lovely wife (who he has been separated from for 6 months) has amnesia, and he conceals the fact that they were having problems so he can win back her love. But will the strange man who caused her head trauma come back to finish his job? The characters in this novel were two-dimensional and monotonous. I never experienced any feelings for the hero, and the narrative was extremely conventional; it lacked appeal. The love was nonexistent and the suspense was missing as well. I do not advocate spending time reading this book.
