Rating: Summary: over kill! Review: I'm a little disappointed, because I have waited years for Ms. Faye to write another story. I was not expecting her to re-write a story which she has already told. If you must read one of her stories read a old one.
Rating: Summary: ok Review: The story of Nicole and Mark's marriage problems. They are happily married and then all of a sudden problems knock them in the face, along with Nicole thinking Mark has cheated on her, and then she starts dating someone else, but their love prove's stronge.
Rating: Summary: Testing Time Review: This book was soooo terrific! I wish I had the opportunity to read Cherly Faye's book leading up to this one first! The trails the test Nicole and Mark's marriage were written so that anyone could feel both of their pain. I love the way Ms. Faye wrote in such a way that the reader could relate to both of the characters as individuals, other than allowing the reader to that the feamle vs. male attitude reading this book. THIS IS A MUST READ BOOK!
Rating: Summary: Too Long Review: This could have been a very good book. I think at least ten chapters could have been left off. Of all the books I've read I have never seen so much crying in my LIFE. Mark didn't have common sense and Nicole was gullible. Mark claimed he loved his wife but wouldn't keep Ashlie out of his life especially if he knows it upset Nicole. I didn't care for that hold thing with Nick what was that about. I hear that A time for us is MUCH better I'll see.
Rating: Summary: TOO MUCH FLUFF....NOT ENOUGH SUBSTANCE Review: This is the first book I have read by Cheryl Faye and I was left wanting. The story of Nicole and Mark had potential but the telling of the story got too bogged down in I love you, No I love you, It's my fault, No it's my fault. And Nicole cried every time the wind blew the wrong way. Even Mark was teary eyed every other bad encounter. I think Nick Latargia's character could have been expanded more. And, are we really suppose to believe that the three million dollars Nicole received was from legal sources, what type of legal work did Nick do to earn that much money? I'm not giving up on you Cheryl, but I am looking for your next book to bring me back into the fold.
Rating: Summary: A Super Epilogue Review: This was an excellent look at what is possible when you experience love at first sight. After 'A Time For Us', Ms Faye reentered the lives of the main characters and shared how they dealt with each others personalites. I thought it was a great follow up and rare for an Author. Kudos...
