She been falsely accused as a thief by her outraged groom to be and who ever captured her would be rewarded for five hundred dollars. That’s when she met Cole Rawdon, a bounty hunter.

Cole vowed never to love and trust a woman after his experience years ago that almost cost him his life. But he can’t deny the attraction between himself and Juliana. Although he convinced himself that she only was a thief and he needed the reward money badly, he wanted her. She had bewitched him with her beauty, with her courageous and indomitable in her spirit, knocked him off balance. Through the dangerous journey they began to trust and love. But a sinister enemy ready to tear their new found happiness apart.

This book was superb. The heroine, Juliana surely was a tough girl who can stand on her own feet. The hero, Cole was a man who although had been cruelly betrayed before but didn’t completely lost his faith in love. The chemistry and the frustration of Cole for wanting Juliana but cannot have her was palpable. Not to mention Juliana’s brothers that added up spices to the story. Reading this book was like you went through a long exciting adventure with a twist of surprise in the end. This book was published ten years ago and I hope it will be reissue to satisfy the fans of Jill Gregory who haven’t read this one. A must read!...
