Summary: GREAT! #3 IN THE SERIES
Review: Alex Bok was recovering from a deadly wound at the resort run by East Kirby and his wife, Alicia. Her pregnancy is progressing, despite an overprotective husband.When Jonah contacts Alex, he is being sent back to where he almost died in the Sinai desert. And also maybe he would find the woman who has continually haunted him. He must find the gunrunner, El Hawy, before the guns are delivered to SIMON. Alex inlists the help of a known smuggler, Farid Ibn Kareem and his sons. Farid has his own agenda in wanting El Hawy. Nora Lowe had not been able to banish her fascination with the black haired man she has accidently saved many months ago. Now he was back, much to the disgust of her English associate, Tim Gaines. For a thirty year old virgin, Nora had quite a few dreams to fulfill and she wondered if Alex would help to acheive her dreams. The danger created by Alex's presence for SPEAR, just seemed to confuse Nora and interfer with her work. But she had to know what Alex was up to. Nosy little lady. Excellent story, excellent action, excellent characters, excellent conclusion. Highly Recommended --M. Review: Eileen Wilks delivers yet another winner. I always know when I buy one of her books, I'd better be prepared to stay up late! Alex and Nora's story will stay with the reader long after the last page is turned.

Review: NIGHT OF NO RETURN has it all - a hard edged hero (my favorite kind!), a no nonsense heroine, and an exotic local. Eileen Wilks writes keepers. She has a wonderful talent for allowing us to be there with the characters, and to live their heart-pounding adventures with them, risk free. I was totally immersed in Alex and Nora's story from start to finish. I predict GREAT things for Eileen Wilks - buy her backlist *now* while you can. She's destined to be a star.

Review: The Year of Loving Dangerously continues in breathtaking fashion in NIGHT OF NO RETURN (4.5) by Eileen Wilks. A spirited archeologist finds herself mesmerized by a wealthy dilettante who appears as a volunteer at her dig in the Sinai desert. Little does she know that her own safety depends on his ability to root out a band of terrorists about to make a big arms deal. Destined to become a big, big name in romantic fiction, Ms. Wilks makes our blood race and our hearts sizzle in this passionate, romantic adventure.

Review: Who is Alex Bok? Is he the byproduct of a mid-eastern archaeological upbringing, an arms dealer, or a spy? These are the facets of his character Dr. Nora Lowe must sift through in order to find out who lies beneath the man she saved in the desert some time ago. Now he has joined her crew at their archaeological dig to assist her in the form of cheap labor though she suspects that there is much more to his presence than he is willing to tell. SPEAR Agent Alex Bok has his reasons for keeping silent about not only his purpose for joining Nora's dig, but also his presence in the desert that time she came upon him bleeding to death. He owes his life to this woman whose innocence reluctantly renews his sense of humanity and honor. As he comes to know and care for her, Alex finds himself making promises, something he has never done before. All he knows is that he must keep her safe. Eileen Wilks continues the Year of Loving Dangerously series where it left off last month. The overarching plot concerning the mission to stop the traitor, Simon, from destroying Jonah, the head of SPEAR, is Alex's goal in this story. Wilks does a splendid job of developing the love that evolves between Alex and Nora even while she integrates Alex's mission into it. The author paints a striking and detailed image of the desert that is stark but alluring as well. She enhances the feel of the desert by allowing her audience to understand what Alex and Nora appreciate about it. Nora is a strong character whose dreams play as important a role in her life as her structured practicality. Her ability to confront her fears, combined with the strength of her endurance, helps Alex to confront his own and lends a great deal of power to her faith in him and his promises.
