Summary: Beautiful!
Review: This is absolutely one of my favorite books in the romantic genre. The two characters, Kuchana and Gib McCoy, are so right for each other. I found myself smiling as I saw how these two were drawn to each other from the beginning. Such a tender love story and a beautiful Indian romance as well.

The story goes that Kuchana, an Apache, is the best tracker in Geronimo's tribe. Not meaning to go off topic but I love her name. It means Woman of the Waters in Apache. Kuchana has lost all of her family except her sister as the U.S. Army is pursuing Geronimo to bring him back to the reservation. Out of a desperate attempt to save her sister, she decides to volunteer as a scout for the very enemy that her people are running away from. This took a lot of courage on her part to leave her tribe because they saw her actions as a traitor. When she arrives at the fort, she encounters Gib-McCoy, a calvary officer. The chemistry that you sense between them is obvious but it is not so much a sexual one although a little is included in the book but what I liked about the story was that it did not focus on the trashy details that you see in most romance novels these days. Instead, tenderness was emphasized more and I found it very touching as it describes how Kuchana struggles to fight her love for Gib, believing that it would be a selfish thing to do if she must save her people.

This was truly a touching love story and well-written as well.
