Summary: amusing romantic suspense
Review: As she turns thirty, Jacey Wilder feels it is past time to straighten out her life. She decides a good place to start is with Albert Alcott, a man she met while on vacation. She deserted Albert when she thought he might be a serial killer, but realizes her error. She hires private detective David Anderson to locate the man though she believes he is a flake.

David quickly learns that Albert never graduated from Harvard Law as he boasted to Jacey. Next he takes her to Albert's former address only to learn he died. David provides solace, but Jacey is not hurting.

Meanwhile Albert faked his death and has returned from Mexico seeking the diamonds he stole from mobster Joey Malori. As Albert and Joey converge on Jacey, she and David fall in love, but he will earn his fee keeping his beloved client safe.

NOBODY BUT YOU is an amusing romantic suspense as only Julie Kenner can write. The story line cleverly combines humor with tension and intrigue so that the audience has a delightful tale though how fast the mob catches up with Albert upon his return seems stretched. The lead couple belongs together and the support cast (from his aunt to the crooks) makes for a wonderful read for sub-genre fans.

Summary: Could have been alot better.
Review: I just don't why "Noboday but you" got such great reviews from readers. The two main characters didn't any for me, infact I began to think that they didn't even belong together. This book just was not able to hold my attention, I have to confess that I kept counting the pages until I was done.

Summary: Scintillating -- Very highly recommended
Review: Jacey Wilder hires investigator Dave Anderson to track down a former boyfriend. With her thirtieth birthday quickly approaching, she decides that she must trade the insecurities of supporting herself with her art for the stability of corporate accounting. She wants to marry, have children, live in the suburbs and drive an SUV. So she trashes her paint and brushes, and, with no appropriate men on her horizon, intends to locate the Mr. Right that got away.

With a successful true crime novel under his belt, Dave wants to publish fiction. Unfortunately, his editor wants true crime, his checking account needs a boost, and his aunt needs his support. He needs Jacey's job, but soon he uncovers facts that leave him suspicious of Jacey's boyfriend. Of course, he tells himself he is only staying on the case to keep the paychecks coming. Nevertheless, maybe Jacey is looking in the wrong direction for Mr. Right, even if she and Dave seem completely wrong for one another.

Julie Kenner's scintillating talent one again dazzles in NOBODY DOES IT BETTER. The intrigue of film noir combines seamlessly with an alluring romance to showcase Kenner's remarkable talent. Jacey's flair for the unexpected, including her stunning artistic talent and beloved car named Lucy, results in a fabulous heroine. Dave's struggles an author and determination to quietly support his aunt make his likewise memorable. Together Jacey and Dave are loveable, flawed human beings with the quirks and gifts that make them dynamic and believable. Secondary characters likewise add amusing eccentricities, in addition to laying the foundation for the sequel. Kenner's star certainly continues to shine with NOBODY BUT YOU, which comes very highly recommended.

Summary: Awesome author! Read this!
Review: Jacey Wilder was nearing the age of thirty. Since her painting had not given her financial security by making her rich, she gave it up. Jacey devised her "Get-Your-Life-Back-On-Track Plan". Step one was to locate Albert Alcott, an ex-boyfriend (that had lasted only briefly) because he was the most financially secure man she knew. Jacey hired a private investigator, David Anderson, to locate Al.

David was a published true-crime author. He wanted to write fictional P.I. stories though. He believed Bogie to be "the master" of old P.I. movies, The Big Sleep being David's favorite. So David left true-crime behind and opened his own P.I. agency. Taking care of Millie, his aunt, as well as, himself financially, Dave was getting desperate for income. He was about to agree to write another true-crime when Jacey walked into his office.

It seemed like such an easy case. Locating an old flame was a cinch, especially one who graduated from Harvard with honors and was a highly paid lawyer. However, it can get rough when the boyfriend's so called life was nothing but a pack of lies! Dave and Jacey found themselves up to their eye-balls in danger from some REALLY mafia-type guys! The perfect way for a romance to form!

***** Author Julie Kenner's latest novel blends the perfect amount of romance, adventure, and comedy to ensure readers a delightful read! Here is an author that seems to get better with each novel she has published! Realizing that little fact leaves me eager for her next release. Great story! *****

Summary: A great romantic comedy!
Review: There is no one who has the flair that Julie Kenner has for witty dialog. When Jacey Wilder discovers that she's turned away a potential boyfriend, she hires PI Dave Anderson to find him. Unfortunately (or fortunately), the man she's looking for is not a suitable mate, but right under her nose, the off-balance PI, is turning out to be much more suitable than she first assumes.

Suspenseful, charming, and oh-so romantic. This one has it all.

Summary: Nick and Nora they're not!
Review: This is a cute tale of an almost thirty female looking for Mr. Right who she thinks she's mistakenly allowed to escape. She hires David Anderson,Mr. Wrong, a wannabe writer of pulp fiction and underworked private eye to search for her future husband. Together they go on a madcap adventure, capture the bad guys and find true love. On the book jacket they are compared to Dashell Hammet's Nick and Nora. David and Jacey are cute and the dialogue is sometimes amusing, but Nick and Nora they are not. They lack the sophistication and smart repartee of the incomparable Nick and Nora.
