Summary: WELL WORTH THE WAIT
Review: Though all of Tamara Leigh's books have a permanent place on my shelf, the long-awaited "Blackheart" stands above all my "keepers". This powerfully and beautifully written story not only has the most original plot I've seen in what seems forever, its characters are so realistic they make you believe in them. As for the pace, it kept me on the edge, it's break-neck, so you'll likely read it in a single sitting. Prepare to be touched, not only by the trials Juliana and Gabriel must face, but the triumphs. If you like predictible books, this one's not for you. Tamara had me guessing the whole way through, each time I thought I'd figured out the plot...I was happily mistaken, this book only got better with each chapter. If you want a "feel good" cry, the scene where Juliana gives birth to their son will do the job perfectly. Though "Blackheart" was well worth the wait, I hope a sequel won't be too long in coming. As far as Alaiz (Juliana's sister in the book) is concerned, I thought Tamara kept it perfect in keeping you hanging for the sequel. I anxiously await to read about the life of Juliana's sister. Tamara has the ability, and always has, to find that emotion in you and stir it up and make you a better person for it. I enjoyed this book probably more than I can express and I'm sure you will too. Welcome back, Tamara Leigh, it's been a while, but as I said in my title...WELL WORTH THE WAIT. :)
