Summary: This was a hard book to rate.
Review: I've read most of Lynne Graham's books and this is the only one I can remember making me really laugh. It is also the only one where the main female character (Bella) is strong enough to stand up the main male character (Rico), most of the time. For all of these reason's it is hard for me to give it only three stars. If I could I would give it three and half stars. I guess it was the fact that I wish Bella was just a little bit more stronger. I can't wait for the day when Lynne writes a really strong female character that doesn't always take .... from the male character. I love the way she writes her male character's but I always have a problem with people who always see the worse in someone without really giving them a chance. And I also have a problem with the female characters always making excuses for the male character. Why read her books then? Because for some reason it just sucks you in.This book is about Bella and Rico da Silva. Bella is a waitress/undiscovered artist and Rico is of course a millionaire (international financier). They meet by accident when Bella crashes into him. Later they get kidnapped and have to spend some time in a confined space alone. During that time they can no longer fight their feelings for each other. Afterwards Rico sets out to seduce her once more. Bella try's her hardest to not let him take control, but she might just let him win.

Review: On a certain day, a few years ago, when I was truly down and out and just wanted to be alone to do some escapist reading I picked up this story. Wow!(first thing that came into my mind after finishing) Lynne Graham has a way with words! The plot and the banter between the hero and the heroine had me laughing so hard I totally forgot about my problems. And happily ever afters don't come better than this! This book had me smiling for days. (I'm smiling just writing this review!) The heroine was someone I could admire- independent, pursued her dreams and an artist to boot! The hero, well, he's just someone from one of my dreams. I've never read anything by Lynne before that day, but after finishing Prisoner of Passion in one sitting I remember scouring the libraries for her past publications and grabbing all her new ones. This story, however, still remains one of my favourites.
