Rating: 3 stars
Summary: okay, but a little boring
Review: I found this book to be a little too predictable and the hero and heroine still seemed unfamiliar by the end of the book. Also the sexual scenes seem stilted and forced like the author was rushing to get to the end of the story, an unusual characteristic for a Blaze novel. All in all a decent read if you are hours away from the bookstore with no means of transportation.

Summary: Simmering energy, relentlessly daring
Review: Mia Quentin will put herself in the path of the first pirate she spies. With a red hibiscus behind her ear, her skirt torn daringly high, and a red lace bikini beneath, Mia plans a hot afternoon in the arms of a stranger. With a bit of persistence, she puts herself in the arms of corporate shark Seth Chandler, pirate for a day, making it clear that she is wild and willing.

Seth does not think much of participating the publicity stunt. He intends to capture a grandmotherly type who would revel in the adventure and provide terrific p.r. for Chandler Enterprises. With an actor quitting at the last minute, however, Seth cannot afford for anything to go wrong, and becomes a sexy pirate complete with an eye patch and bare chest.

Mia got more than she bargained for with the pirate who refuses to take advantage of her offer of a brief fling. She must return to a life of overwhelming responsibility that leaves no time for romance. He must convince her otherwise. Indeed, it may take weeks of sensual promises and erotic possibilities to convince Mia of the value of commitment.

Author Joanne Rock has a gift for penning wickedly delicious romance with fabulously erotic escapades, which WILD AND WILLING delivers with flair! Mia's desire for a quick fling before she returns to responsibility will echo the fantasies of most readers, but Seth's attitudes are certainly unexpected. Of course, a guy who believes that commitment means living together still has a lot to learn. The subplot is equally delightful with Mia's unorthodox mother finding love as well. Further, quirky humor, including grandparents who really want to sell bad t-shirts and squeaky toys from their gift shop, will keep readers wildly entertained. WILD AND WILLING comes very highly recommended.

Summary: torrid contemporary romance
Review: When the actor quit two hours before the Tampa Bay annual Gasparilla Festival, Seth Chandler reluctantly decides to play the role of pirate captain. Seth knows his company the Gulf Coast Bank subsidiary of Chandler Enterprises is sponsoring the gala and he wants nothing negative to occur on the evening news.

Mia Quentin is visiting the town and the event in search of adventure and romance as she takes a break from her very responsible yet dull life. When the pirates led by Seth begin the abduction of women, Mia screams to gain Seth's attention. He dubs her "Carmen" as he kidnaps her. As Mia and Seth become acquainted, they fall in love, but he struggles to persuade her that they can share a lifetime adventure together.

Fans of torrid contemporary romances will enjoy WILD AND WILLING though Mia seems schizoid as she is assertive with her beloved, but timid with her grandparents and mother. The story line engages the audience form the moment Seth leaps off the pirate ship and never slows down until the final parry between the lead couple. Joanne Rock endows her fans with an exuberant pleasant tale.

Summary: Wild and Wonderful!
Review: Wild and Willing delivers a fabulous one sitting read! Wow! Right from the get-go, this story grabbed me with the steamy fun
of a Florida pirate festival, a reluctant studdly pirate, and a determined modern day maiden focused on getting her guy! Mia and Seth make a wonderfully exciting and sympathetic hero and heroine. The secondary romance with Noelle and Brock is a bonus treat! And then there are those delightfully quirky grandparents with their sea-side tourist shop. Readers get more than their money's worth in this seamlessly woven story packed full of fun, steam, and romance. The prolific Ms. Rock delivers a winner, yet again!
