Rating: Summary: An enjoyable read Review: I read this book a while ago and remember that I liked the characters alot. I thought they seemed like people I would like to be friends with and enjoyed the "ugly duckling" story. I usually rank my enjoyment by categorizing my books as "can't put it down - will reread again", "liked it enough to loan to a friend", "ok, donate to library" and "forget about it". This book fell between the top 2 categories.

Rating: Summary: Maureen Child's done it again.... Review: This is the typical formula that Maureen Child's been following, but it's a cute story that I completed in one sitting. The story is about Tracy Hall and Rick Bennett. Tracy and Rick are going to attend a high school reunion and are driving up from California to Oregon. Tracy was a "nerd" in high school and had a crush on Rick, a neighbor who also dated her sister in high school. Tracy is now very successful, but wants to look glamorous so she has a complete makeover before the reunion. Rick hardly recognizes her. Rick is now a marine and still very available. Tracy has also decided to invent a "fiancé" to complete her new image and that's when trouble begins for the duo. A pleasant if predictable read.
