Rating: Summary: This was great reading! Review: I loved this book! I read it first in the morning and last at night. The author introduced romance and sex without the usual graphic scenes other authors drop down to. The storyline was great in that there were several things going on at once, but they all revolved around the main character who proved to be a strong woman in her own right. Even the ending was great. Very entertaining!
Rating: Summary: Finally a romance for the more mature woman Review: Eva shows us how its done. Her husband walks out on her and after the initial shock, she finds she is still a desirable woman. Hutch did not find the grass on the other side so green. Ms Wesley in the same style as when she brought us the Tamara Hayle series, did an excellent job weaving the lives of Eva, Hutch, Charley, Steven and all the others, and bringing it all together. In her first attempt at a comtemporary romance, she did a good job. I look forward to more from Valerie.
Rating: Summary: Loved It! Review: I loved "Ain't Nobody's Business ..." I am not a mystery fan but have read most of Ms. Wesley's books. In my opinion, this was her best work! I hated for the story to end. This is a perfect choice for a book club selection! The story touched upon issues that will invite great conversation and discussions. I can't wait for her next romance novel!
Rating: Summary: a little slow, but, it became interesting ! Review: I guess I'm used to reading her mysteries, this book being a novel was a little slow at first, I had to keep myself interested until the story took off, and it did, but, it's the same old thing with who left who and what else is new !
Rating: Summary: A GREAT READ!!! Review: My book club (COF II) is currently reading this as the November book selection. I have already finished the book and must say to other readers, it's worth the $$$$. I enjoyed getting to know each of the characters & how the message of "forgiveness" is so wonderfully written! Keep up the good work Valerie. We support you 100% here in Atlanta!Circle of Friends II "Knowledge is power, but shared knowledge empowers us all"!!!!
Rating: Summary: GOOD READ Review: I THOUGHT THIS WAS A GOOD READ. THE STORY KIND OF DRAGGED ON BUT, ONCE YOU GET INTO IT ITS GOOD. ALL THE CHARACTER WERE REAL PEOPLE GOING THROUGH EVERYDAY STUFF AND THAT WAS REFRESHING, THE PART WITH THE MOTHER AND DAUGHTER WAS MORE THAN I COULD STAND IM GLAD THEY GOT PAST THAT PART. FOR THE FOREMOST IT WAS A REALLY GOOD READ.
Rating: Summary: A LITTLE SLOW AT FIRST BUT WORTH THE EFFORT!! Review: AFTER HAVING READ MOST OF MS. WESLEY'S MYSTERIES, I WAS EAGER TO READ THIS BOOK. THE BOOK STARTED OFF A LITTLE SLOW AT FIRST BUT I'M GLAD I STUCK WITH IT. THIS BOOK SHOWS THAT EVERYTHING IS NOT AS IT APPEARS TO BE AND NOTHING LASTS FOREVER BUT THAT IT IS UP TO US TO FIND OUR OWN HAPPINESS. A LOT OF LIFE LESSONS IN THIS BOOK. I ENJOYED READING IT
Rating: Summary: Truly Enjoyable Review: I really enjoyed this book! For it to be the first book I've read by Mrs. Wesley that was not a mystery, I thoroughly enjoyed it! I think she did an excellent job on this one.
Rating: Summary: ONE HECK OF A NOVEL! Review: I have followed Ms. Wesley's books from the beginning and when I heard that she was releasing a new novel which was not a mystery, I was ready and willing to read it! When I got a hold of a copy, from chapter one, I was hooked. She wrote about something of substance, i.e. marriage, love, friendships and much more. She told her story with such realism, one would believe they were sitting in a corner watching the entire book unfold. She did an excellent job with each of her characters, to the point that everybody will know somebody in their lives just like them. Ms. Wesley's latest title is a for sure winner and will do well on the market by us fiction readers. My hats off to a very well put together piece of work (but what else can we expect from Ms. Wesley)!!!!!!
Rating: Summary: This is one of the Greatest Books. Review: The story first started off as if it was going to be boring. But once I sat down and really got into it this book was the BOMB!! I read this book in 4 days. I loved the part at the end when Hutch and Eva finally got back together. I think Raye had a crush on Hutch all the time that him and Donald were friends. That's why she use to listen to him when he needed someone to talk too. And Eva oh my god, what made her part so great was the GOOD LOVE MAKING that she was getting from her little roommate which not to least to be expected Charley's ex-boyfriend which is Eva's only child.I Loved this book. It's one of the best ones that I have read in a long time.
